Good service
The food is not great but the service is oustanding. The wait staff try to make you feel at home. The food needs to be cooked a little less and the portion size needs to be bigger!

Great food caring people
Great food & service. My Aunt has been going to the morning star for breakfast for many years. The owners and staff treat her like family!! I eat there once a week and always have a great meal. I spent 30 years in the diner business and know how tough it is to make everyone happy. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all you do.

Value & great service
I lived in the area for over two decades and have eaten at Morning Star for over one. The food is always fresh, the servers are very attentive and your order served as requested, you never have to ask your server to have your coffee refilled. They will check the amount in your cup and ask your first if you would like some more. I highly recommend this diner for food quality, pricing and exceptional service.

Great Diner Food
I love having this diner in the neighborhood. Excellent breakfast food, especially the french toast, with speedy delivery service. My children both love the scrambled eggs/home fries from here and are always thrilled when I say we are ordering or going to Morning Star! They are a perfect neighborhood diner that never disappoints. Although I love it there, they could use an upgrade of the interiors inside the diner.

Consistently good
Very nice diner with pleasant staff and prompt service. Menu has a lot of variety, and it is good basic food that is consistently good. This is the first place I have found in NYC that has a chicken salad sandwich the way I like it. Keep up the excellent food and service!

Best diner in town!
Sooo great--they even named a wrap after me!! Just ask for the Amy Wrap-you won't be disappointed!
