Primo!
I love this place. The interior reminds me of "Beauty School Dropout" in the movie Grease--bright but soft indirect lighting, pastel colors, chrome counter stools. Gorgeous. Good service and high quality food. And there's booze behind the bar. It works with friends or as a solo at the counter. Sit at the counter and try the matzo ball soup and a half carafe of the house white. Fantastic.

Hidden Gem
I've lived in Chelsea for many years, but today I eat here for the first time. I can't believe I've miss this place! I normally would eat across the street at the diner with the big glass window, but now that I've discover this gem, I'm sticking to it! This is the best diner in the neighborhood and one of the best in NYC!! The interior is more cozy than it appears from outside. It was very clean. The food was hot and cooked just right with lots of choices for all ages. (I'm late 30's.) Service was attentive. I'll be back!!! This is a great diner!

Fond memories
I visited New York a lot a few years ago and always stayed in the Chelsea area. The Moonstruck Diner was my favourite place to eat - the staff were super-friendly and the portions were very generous. I'm hoping to visit NYC again soon and will definitely go back to Moonstruck!

Yummy
I love this diner. The waiters are incredibly nice and the food is really delicious. The avgolemono soup they have on Mondays is a must have....don't forget to add some lemon!

Two Words: Cobb Salad
Moonstruck diner is one of my favorite diners in Chelsea. Let's face it, Chelsea isn't cheap and Moonstruck is no exception. However, most of the dishes they serve are well worth their value. My favorite is their chicken cobb salad. Yes, it's about $15, but you get an enormous salad with generous portions of everything. It's so good I daydream about it when sometimes. That, topped with the fact that Moonstruck is open 24 hours and has excellent service makes it a great place to go anytime you're hungry. They don't skimp on the portions for delivery either, so it's totally the way to go when you're feeling lazy or agoraphobic.

Price changes too often
Love the food and service. Price is not good for the value and changes too often. A bagel with egg and cheese....6.95! That's ridiculous!

Good enough...
I grew up in Chelsea and I always looked forward to having a Belgian Waffle Sundae and that is what I had on my recent vacation back home. I stll love the food and the atmosphere is still cozy but the service has gone down some. Our waiter didn't check on us enough to see if all was well or if we needed anything else. I would still go back to Moonstruck of course but I hope that next time the service would be better.
