From the outside I thought this was a pastry shop, then a diner where I could get a fast sandwich. I did get the sandwich and it was great. Huge Reuben, smothered in pastrami (or corned beef?), cheese, sauerkraut, with a bottle of Russian dressing. The bread was delicious. I saved half for my dinner the next night. I'll have to go back.

I have been coming to this restaurant/diner for quite a while. It was always my go-to for comfort good, salads for lunch, delivery and casual quality brunches. Their delivery is quick and food is always hot. Their soups and sandwiches/burgers are great and fare perfectly through out the delivery process. Never soggy, messy, or anything else annoying that I have experienced with other diner deliveries before making this my go-to. I felt compelled to write a review though, because recently Moonstruck 58th has made some progressive changes that I've noticed over the past six months. First, management seems to have changed. I feel that the employees are more "on top" of things. I noticed from the past few times dining inside over the past few months that the store seems to run smoother. Not sure if they changed ingredients, or what it is, but the food has been tasting higher quality. They also spruced up and changed around their brunch menu (highly recommended for brunch!). What has impressed me most the past few weeks is that they seem to have changed their bread. Their bagels are now so fresh and completely different than what they used to be, and what the typical diner bagel is. They have bagels that taste straight out of your favorite bagel store. Fluffy quality on the inside, crisp and nice on the outside. Perfect! And their burgers now are on a new type of brioche bun. SO tasty! Keep up the great work Moonstruck!! Must try: new bagels, matzah ball soup, Cobb salad, anything on breakfast menu, salmon (surprisingly great seafood!)

Now I have two bad experiences. Number one, when I was dining in I ordered and proceeded to wait 50 min. When I finally spoke up and asked about my food they proceeded to tell me that they lost my order and asked me to reorder again. The food finally arrived at our table I realized with great terror that they have given me rye bread instead of whole wheat. Second, after a night of being white boy wasted all I wanted in the morning was a turkey club with a side of Russian dressing. Because of my past experience I specifically told then to make sure that they don't forget the Russia dressing and what do you think happened. You nailed it. No god damn Russian dressing. #worstserviceinnyc #neveragain #ineedtofindanewdiner

inedible, wilted greek salad. grape leaves were mushy, stale and waterlogged. no onion either. terrible greek salad. the dry french fries were of that awful "coated" variety. no self respecting diner operator, restarauter would just serve those froszen type!

The food is so good and it taste so fresh. Delivery is speedy and my order is always correct!! If you have the opportunity to visit, you will find a friendly staff, clean environment and lovely decor. Again , the service is fast and it tastes great! I have turned all my co-workers on to this place, they love it. You will too! :-)

Moonstruck has great diner food. Everything is consistent. I have been going here for years and they are really fast and have really fresh items. Their delivery is really fast as well. Cost of items are fair.
