MoonRock Diner

I had eggs benedict for breakfest that was amazing. Came with delicious hash browns with onions. The deal also included a free Mimosa, which was perfect. Coffee was also included at a price of $9 for everything. Not bad.

Excellent value for NYC I had a reuben sandwich which came with french fries, slaw and a pickle and my sister had a burger which came with lettuce, tomatoe, onions, french fries, slaw and a pickle. We split a bowl of potato leek soup which was one of the best I have had. The service was fine for a diner like setting as well as the prices. Will recommend this place highly.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good and it was presented well. The prices were very cheap for NYC. We had a cesear salad, baked chicken, soup, rolls and 2 desserts. Everything was great. I will definately eat there the next time I'm in the city.

The milkshake was divine. We got ordinary vanilla, but it was so creamy and good, i couldn't ask for a better milkshake. They know their stuff. My sister ordered one breakfast plate and I ordered the three griddle pancakes. Soooooo good. The waitstaff was attentive, although our waitress was a bit grumpy, I suppose. However, she did offer good service and the food was so good i just overlooked it. And the food is cheaper than say, Applejack Diner. You get more bang for your buck. My sister and I went to Applejack Diner and were immediately commenting on how we would go back to Moonrock.

If any readers can remember the Dobbs/Toddle House restaurants, here's a place with breakfast potatoes that will recall those great hashbrowns of the Toddle house. Enormous b'fast for $7.00!

Food if fantastic, specially for a diner. Food is very fresh and tasty. You're always assured of a good meal at a decent price here.

I've never had a better milkshake in my life! It was absolutely delicious! Just thinking about it makes me salivate.
