I love Mooncake! I'm fortunate enough to be located directly across the street from them. They have fabulous food - my favorite is the grilled chicken with garlic lime - and nice servers. My only gripe is that for delivery, it takes 45min-1hr...and I'm right across the street!

I simply had to write a review. We ate here again today after finding this gem of a restaurant on menupages about 4 months ago. By now, I have had everything on the menu - and each item is better than the next. My favorite is still the miso glazed salmon - but seriously, try everything! The staff is great, very attentive - the tables are a little scunched together but given that everyone loves this place, they gotta find a way to squeeze us all in!

The food here is delicious and sure to satisfy your craving. The delivery I ordered arrived so quickly that I when the buzzer rang I thought, "No that couldn't be my food already, it's been less than ten minutes!" The crawfish dumplings were dreamy- extremely fresh and flavorful, and this is coming from someone who lived in New Orleans. The dough even tasted homemade. The beef shins with tortillas... AMAZING. The meat was moist and tender, slow cooked to fall apart at the touch of a fork. They served the drippings on the side so you could roll crisp watercress & flavorful meat up in warm tortillas and dip away to your hearts delight. YUM. So happy to have found a reliable go to for Asian delivery. I pass by there walking my dog and it looks like a cozy little place to dine in- perfect for a date.

I get my lunch here at least once a week; I prefer takeouts since the place is tiny and always crowded at lunch. Glazed salmon and sliced steak are excellent, the only two dishes I didn’t like were edamame soup and crawfish soup.

my boyfriend and i have been going to mooncake foods forever (or at least it seems that way). what keeps us coming back is the wonderful, warm, comfortable atmosphere, the super nice staff, the great teas, the generous portions, the low prices and the AMAZING FOOD. you really can't go wrong here - steak salad, broiled salmon, tuna burger, pork chops, chicken wings, summer rolls, the daily specials, the "green sauce" (just ask for it)...its all really good. the only thing we've ever had that we didn't like was the crawfish dumplings (but i'm convinced we just ordered on a bad day). they have some of the freshest fish around and everything is skillfuly prepared. its always a hit with friends and visiting family too.

I just came back from lunch at Mooncake and had the steak and peppers sandwich which I heard was being compared to crack? It's nearly there as I smoke crack quite regularly. Prices are amazing for soho and portions are large. I could hardly finish my sandwich and slaw though I really really tried. Service was very friendly. The waitress shot me a smile when I looked up from my sandwich. Not a half-assed-"was she looking in this direction?"-smile but a real one. Besides a gorgeous lunch date, that's what I like to see in a restaurant. They did a wonderful job decorating a small space but I'm guessing it has 20 table seats and 5-6 stools so get there before 12:30 for lunch if you don't want to wait.

Mooncake is really dee-lish. I work right across the street so I eat there a lot. I have actually taken friends there on the weekends and they have fallen in love too. The food is excellent and a great price for what you get. My favorite items are the Tuna Burger with wasabi mayo and the Grilled Steak w/ Cilantro plate and brown rice. The staff is really friendly also.
