the best pizza i had in a long time.
we stoped at the place it was packed ,and i see why. pizza was great,the salad my friend got was very fresh, great place....

I go to Monty's once every 6 months even though I live about 50 yards away and vow never to do it again. Made my semi-annual visit last week bc the line at Chipolte was out the door. As I try to keep it slightly healthy I ordered two slices of whole wheat fresh mozz pizza and a small soda. Tab = $9. To wait on line for mediocre at best reheated pizza with no toppings and a cup of ice, thats insane considering the multitude of decent sit-down places that serve a nicer lunch for $10 and under. The area is beyond overpriced in every way, that said if a Montague St. resident does a double take, you know you are pushing it.

Not cutting it
Hoping they'll read this - it's the simple things that can do you in - like putting about 5 pieces of low quality sausage on a large pizza - a bunch of disappointed sausage lovers refuse to eat there again. Problem is consistency, sometimes the pizza is good, but sometimes, it feels like they're phoning it in because grimaldi's doesn't deliver. try harder, please.

fair
Ordered from montys for the first time last night.... The whole wheat pizza is pretty awesome and i would recomend. The whole wheat pasta was overcooked and i would stay away from in the future

I wish I had more options...
I really don't like Monty's, unfortunatly there are limited options in the area that offer delivery of their range of selection, and they know it. I just had a really poor customer service experience with them, and it just adds to the pain I experience every time I pick up the menu and order from them. They are expensive, and have an real attitude along with frequently messing up orders. I wouldn't normally post on here but their attitude has now sent me across the line. If I had more options I wouldn't ever order from them again.

chicken perm
Chicken perm is the best. you have to try it. its totally worth every penny. and staff is very helpfull and pleasent.

Monty's is OOkay
I agree w/ the other reviews, the food is good, but too pricey. I like the Pizza a lot, and the Salads are okay...but i def. not worth the prices.
