Lovely for Brunch
My friends and I went there for brunch on Saturday and it was reasonably priced, a lovely quiet atmosphere and we had polite service. Mont Blanc is a quaint and authentic Swiss restaurant that is a little secluded. Definitely worth another visit!!!

Worth the trip , to eat here. Can not say enough of this place. They could use a little more word of people to vist it. Tell your friends if you like it. Nothing missing, in my book. Hope they don:t lose there CHEF. Look forward each time , when I get in the city to eat there. Yes, there are many restuarant to choice fromin NYC, but each trip m brings me back, Stay small and keep up the good work.

European Comfort Food
Loved the "new" location. A lot of good food for great value. Maria of course came by to check on me but she didn't have to as the waiters were taking care of me quite nicely. I loved my breaded pork chop and of course the potato pancake you get with your meal is yummy. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a hearty appetite. The combination of Swiss/Italian/European choices makes for a yummy hearty meal.

The best in the theater district
I'm a local New Yorker and know many, many restaurants in town. My favorite in the theater district (around Times Square) is Mont Blanc, which has now moved to a new location on 48th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. The food is mainly Swiss German, but eclectic. They have wonderful wienerschnitzel, salmon, fondues, etc., but it's the little things that matter the most to me -- the memorable Rosti (onion-flavored) Swiss potatoes, and the terrific bread. The owner is Maria who is a gracious , friendly, hostess. For anyone going to a Broadway show who wants a charming environment and delicious food for good value, try Mont Blanc and mention Geoffrey.

What a disappointment
It was a Saturday late afternoon and we bumped into this place. It didn't seem to be bad and it was Swiss, right? The food at this place was simply unacceptable. Have been to Switzerland many times and whatever leftovers they serve at this place will put the real Swiss quality into shame, to say the least. Nothing that we ordered was fresh, the glasses weren't exactly clean and we still had to pay for all that we hardly touched.

Loved this place!
I reseached restaurants for 3 months before travelling to NYC from the midwest. This one was on my list. We went after a BW show around 11pm. The service and food were wonderful. We sat out in the garden and had a delightful time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice quite place to have a meal.

Addicted
I had to stop myself from eating here all the time so that I could experience the rest of NYC. The baked clams are huge and delicious. The seafood manicotti alfredo is to die for. My husband loves the crab cakes. The service is ok and the atmosphere is noisy but the food is worth it.
