Working nearby, this is my favorite place for lunch. Beats many of the popular places in quality. Their sashimi appetizer plate is the best deal in town--9 slices of fish for about $9. And the pieces are BIG. A salad and bowl of rice on the side and you've got a feast for under $14! Their special house "creamy" salad dressing is one I've never had at any other sushi place. It's is delicious and addictive Atmosphere is pretty plain, but it's never overcrowded. How Monster doesn't have a long wait is good...but a mystery!

Japanese food is usually always yummy. This place was way expensive, and I'm a vegetarian. Really really sub par food in a cafeteria setting with a waitress who was unaccomodating to my not eating of meat. I felt like I wasted a lot of money. Miso soup tasted like from a package.

The edamame was not good, the sushi was very fishy, the rolls were too tight & dry, the staff was clueless and the when we complained to the manager (who was missing in action for 20 minutes), he wasn't the least bit accomodating.

Really good sushi. Atmosphere is good as well - More of a modern look than traditional Japanese atmosphere. Check out the Godzilla figurine near the entrance.

I eat here frequently, and always enjoy the food. The sushi is fresh, the staff is helpful, and delivery is always quick. Best informal sushi place in Chelsea.
