Love their fried chicken
Took my out of town friends here and they really enjoyed the food and music. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. This place also has a very unique and fun decor. It was an overall enjoyable experience. You should check it out.

Jazz Meets Best Korean Fried Chicken in East Village!
To someone who loves Jazz and vintage like me, this place is just AMAZING! We can feel the groove anytime because they play Jazz everyday. Live performance takes place almost every night, and it's always filled with crowds. The best part is of course their seasoned Fried Chicken!! It's so crispy outside but tender and juicy inside. It goes well with both their beer selection (allagash is my favorite one) and special soju samplers (beautifully decorated Infused soju drinks which are very fresh and soft). Edamame and Mango salad are great as an appetizer, and Yuzu Seabass and Galbi Skewer are delicious! Interior, ambience, food, and staffs are all fantastic, highly recommended! :)

mediocre food
Really mediocre food so I won't be back. A saving grace is it wasn't super expensive.

Really chill place
It's like you're sitting inside an old-school record playing jukebox. Records move behind the glass on conveyor belts. It's like you're in some sort mad inventors music machine. Really chill vibe. Crispy wings. Good Korean pickles. All around a solid value. Service is a bit slow, the one downer.

Great New Spot in the LES
Went to this place a week after it opened. This is a great cute spot with great service. Went there with 2 friends with no reservations and the hostess promptly sat us on a table. The DJ was great playing old school songs and some new hits as well. The service was quick and fast as it normally is at Korean restaurants. The food was also very tasty and reasonable. We had a couple apps and a couple entrees. The shrimp was amazing as well as the sampler drinks! Will definitely go back! Just a great place with cool and chill atmosphere with no pretentious crap to deal with.

Great Atmosphere, Delicious Food/Drinks
I use Menupages pretty much any time I'm looking for a new restaurant to try. I've never been compelled to write a review. Mono + Mono is well worth my first post. My girlfriends and I met here for a girl's night. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet sophisticated. Fun enough for a group celebrating, but intimate enough for a date. When I got there around 9:30 PM there was a crowd, but not elbow to elbow. We were seated at a table in the back by the open kitchen. We ordered drinks and a few things to eat. The cocktails were amazing and and the food was great. One of my friends ordered the drink sampler. Great presentation and the taste was excellent (I'm taking their word on this, I had the passion fruit mojito and a strawberry smoothie-type drink, both great!). For food we ordered the the fried chicken, corn, and a few other small dishes. The fried chicken was so tender on the inside, sweet and crispy on the outside. The corn was cooked perfectly and the cheese on it was a wonderful compliment. Considering we started eating/drinking at 9:30 PM and didn't leave until after 1AM the bill was quite reasonable. Overall, the experience was a pleasant surprise. I've been telling all (which isn't all that many since most of them were with me) my friends about the restaurant since I was there on Friday. I'm getting on their nerves as I've been repeating myself multiple times, so I figured I'd give my knowledge over to the Menupages community. Enjoy! Thanks to Aaron and J.B. for being superb waiters and dealing with oh so demanding patrons. :)
