    Lamb Tajine = Delicious

Great place to go in the neighborhood. Been to Monaco and few times now and have never been disappointed. Every dish we've tried has been great! Lamb Tajine in particular is fantastic.

I just happened to walk in here one night and was pleasantly surprised. Food & Staff were excellent and the atmosphere was so warm and cozy. Will definitely go back

Great food, service and a prefix deal!

My wife and I stumbled into this place last night when the place we were headed to turned out to have gone out of business. What a lucky break for us! We were early, about 6:00 pm, so we ordered from the prefix menu for $18.95 each (you need to bring cash no cards for the prefix), including starter and a glass of wine. My wife had grilled salmon and I had the lamb stew on couscous. Both were great, as was the soup starter. The wine included with the meal was a Yellow Tail Shiraz, which I though was generous for the price (I am no wine snob, but like a good glass of wine with my meal). The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. We hope to come back soon and try something else.

Style in the Upper West Side

I recently had dinner here a monaco and they treated me and my guest like a couple of visiting royalty. From the great amuse and hor dourves and then a killer shrimp appetizer to unbelievable the bread was so fresh ...the whole experience was a culinary delight. Staff was attentive and warm and had no problem getting us what we wanted within 2 minutes of ordering it. They know how to please at this place. very good monaco I LOVE

    This place is fantastic!

I started eating at Monaco this summer. What can I say - the food is great, the waitresses are pretty, and the bartender makes a great martini! I always get the lamb tajine - it's a tender lamb shank stew, unlike anything i've ever tasted - delicious every time! This is a great neighborhood place with lots of regulars (like me). The atmosphere is great, i've sat outside and inside and they're both nice. Don't pay attention to those other reviews, this place is great!!!

    Wouldn't serve to my dog

I got the flank steak with mango salso and a watercress salad. It came to my surprise about 5 minutes after I ordered; swimming in a concoction of teriyaki and what tasted like soy sauce. The mango salsa stack and watercress salad was drizzled in about half a bottle of balsamic vinegar. I had to order some bread from the waitress just to fill the whole in my stomach. I wouldn't grind up this food and feed it to my dog. My girlfriends was just as bad, she got the goat cheeses salad which was just a mountain of romaine lettuce with a piece of fried goat cheese stuck on the top. I could have picked the goat cheese up and broke a window with it. Awful food based on these 2 dishes.
