Too much hype for nothing
We were so excited to eat there having been to China and loving Asian cuisine. The food was salty and dry, the dessert tasteless.

Obsessed with the Cold Spicy Noodles
My best friend took me here for my birthday and I dragged by boyfriend down again for round two! The Cold Spicy Noodles are amazingly delicious. We decided to get dessert as well, and the pumpkin ale/pretzel twist soft serve ice cream was such a treat. We arrived at 7:30pm on a Thursday, and although the place was bustling, we were able to be seated in five minutes. Check it out!

Really great!
I've been to Momofuku several times now, and it keeps drawing me back. I can see how some people don't like it, because it's a bit unusual, strong flavors and it definitely has its own stye. Food snobs might like to knock it down as it is a bit trendy. But the ingredients are super fresh, the kitchen is open so you can watch your food being made if you want to, and all the personnel do their jobs cheerfully and professionally. Lots of vegetarian dishes if you like those, which I do (although I am not a vegetarian.) The bottom line is that I like it enough to keep returning -- for the food, not the hype.

Pricey and a little lacking in flavor
I've been here a few times, but after my last visit last week. I resolved to write up something. The food here is pretty expensive for what you get and it's either way oversalted or pretty bland. The only way I could make the ramen flavorful was to add tons of hot sauce. Sure it's a pretty cool place with attractive/cool staff and clientele, but that doesn't make up for the average food.

gone 7 times, now the blush is off the rose
I am a pescatarian and hardcore foodie. Momofuku noodle bar is a must try restaurant. The first time I went I ordered the Ginger Scallion Noodles and liked them a lot (not love). I also ordered the Shitake Buns they were great (warning, if vegetarian/pescatarian, make sure to ask them to cook it sans meat fat). Also, I loved my order of the apple pie cake truffles. I've gone back several times and now I’m kind of sick of it. It's a one trick pony with a really tasty trick! Must try at least once.

Pork buns!
Get them!

overrated
eh, nothing special, for the price that you're paying I'd expect it to be better. The momofuku ramen was average, the pork bun was super fatty, so it's good if you like it that way. The wings weren't very tasty. Definitely not on my go-to list.
