    Terrible service, not worth it

Went to Momofoku's on Sunday night, waited 50 minutes for our ramen. Waiter messed up our order, gave us 2 orders of appetizers when we said we already received it. Not a surprise considering our waiter didn't even write our order down on paper. He probably didn't even put in our order in until later, so after 50 minutes sitting on the table staring at each other, we finally got our ramen. The food was not worth the wait and frustration at all, and for 3 adults and 3 kids, the bill came out to $150, with no drinks! Really? $16 for a bowl of ramen? This is a typical tourist trap or in Japan, as they say, westerner food! Avoid at all costs!

    One of the best

Noodle Bar is hands down one of the best restaurants around. They consistently deliver delicious seasonal items that exceed my expectations. You really can't go wrong here.

    Great tasty dishes

Went with a friend from LA 7/20, we sat at the bar the best show in town(space is limited no matter where you sit) Watching the Chef's wip up those plates is great, but it does make you order more!! The pork buns , the Seared Foie Gras are amazing and don't forget the corn cooked in bacon!! the taste is wonderful. Go early 6/7pm not so crowed Go at 9pm and you'll be waiting on a long line

    very disappointed

My 3rd visit to Momofuku, and first for a friend from out of town... and I was very embarrassed at the service and quality of food served. Both the appetizers and main noodle dishes were very, very salty. The main course noodles in spicy sauce were so salty that we couldn't take more than a couple of bites. A waiter came by, seeing that we were not touching out food, I address him that it was "very, very bad, and that we wanted the check". He proceeded to tell a different waitress, and she dropped the check on the table and flew out of sight. Couldn't find the waitress again, so I emailed the restaurant directly.... no answer or reply. I've never written a bad review---but this was a terrible experience (worst $50 spent) which left a bad, bad taste!

    The Best Noodles in Town!

That title was suggested by menupages but it's true. No idea why this place attracts such an anti-fan club, but it's a great restaurant well worth making a trip for. Aside from the noodles, has a great beer selection, great soft serve ice cream for dessert, amazing raw bar and underrated non-soup options, including fantastic mussels. I am sometimes creeped out by mussels - Kitchen Confidential, etc. - but everything is clean and fresh here, just a surgically efficient operation. Highly recommended.

    Great place

I was really impressed with the food! I ate the momofuku ramen and it was easily the best noodle bowl i ever ate. My girlfriend had the vegetarian noodle bowl because that was the only vegetarian option on the entire menu and she thought it was tasty as well. The only reason we gave the food quality a 4.5 and not a 5 is because we thought the food was a bit over salted. Fun place for friends but not a quiet intimate setting for a date.
