    Best meal in new york

I just spent a week in New York eating out for every meal and this is the restaurant that rates at the top of my list. The service was graceful, pleasent and respectful. The food was superb. The Keftedes and Dolmades were perfect as Mezedes and the Baby Vermont Lamb was the best Lamb I've ever had. I was really happy I went to Molyvos.

    Refined Greek Cuisine

Enjoyed a wonderful summer dinner. Everything on the menu is authentic Greek (real flavors, ingredients), but better than typical greek preparation and well worth the price. Nothing like it in New York or in San Diego! Wonderful saganaki, real greek salad, stuffed cabbage leaves (nice variation on the traditional dolmades with avgomoleno), lamb. We heartily recommend Molyvos.

    Word of Advice

You must have the Baclava! I will remember it always.... (the meals and appetizers are on the small side, but delicious.)

    Delightful surprise

We were on our way to the theater and found this gem along the way. Since we were quite early the dining room wasn't opened yet, so we sat in the lounge area in front. We chose several appetizers which were all fantastic. Each tasty tidbit coated one's tongue with exquisite flavor. After sharing 4 of these we decided to share a main course as well. The wine was lovely, the food, tasty and very satisfying, and the service and ambience wonderful as well. I can highly recommend this find to anyone looking for a wonderful dinner.

    I don't like Greek food

I'm not a fan of Greek cuisine (even in Greece) but the food was excellent. It's very popular so often crowded and it's not cheap but the food is interesting and excellent.

    Good Restaurant

We went there on a Saturday night and it was pretty full. One of the hostesses was really rude but when she walked away the other hostess gave us a great table. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. We had a bottle of greek wine with cheese and olives to start. Their bread is wonderful! Our entrees were a oven baked whole fish w/ potatoes and olives and the other was rabbit stew. (in a clay pot with flavor of nutmeg and spice). Overall a good experience.
