Mojitos gets a makeover, food and service remain sub-par.
My wife and I have been to Mojitos twice. Once before the Kitchen Nightmares episode and once after. Our first visit was lackluster, the food was ok, but it came out very slowly, we were served something we didn't order, and the service was extremely surly - and that's being kind. The second time, the atmosphere had certainly improved and the scaled back menu looked good. Unfortunately, the food was awful, our orders were wrong again and I was served a $7 dollar glass of wine that was disappointing. When I kindly asked our server if she had given me the right wine, she rudely snapped at me that she had and ran over to the bar to bring the bottle to me for inspection. When she came back to the table, she showed me the wine I had been served...it was from one of those little airplane bottles! Not a split (half bottle), but from a little airplane bottle. Needless to say, we cancelled our entrees, paid the bill and left. Never to return.

Disappointing
We ordered an appetizer but the waitperson brought it at the same time as the entree. No way!! Also the food was just lukewarm and the porkchop was kind of dry. I've had much better Cuban in Florida.

Go just for the bread
I've lived in the neighborhood for a few years and finally gave this restaurant a try. It was absolutely delicious. I had a salmon salad and the empanadas and I was more than pleased. Give this restaurant a chance and you will not be disappointed. The drinks are fabulous too!!!!

You lost another customer
I have been a regular customer of Mojito's for over 3 years now. I have put up with countless times trying to call and no one answering, my call being disconnected, the person on the other line not being able to understand or take my order but tonight was sadly the last straw. I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes, called back and the phone was busy. I finally got through to someone and found out they have changed their menu, which sounds like for the worst. Not sure how cuban favorites can be taken off the menu but they did. I wish them luck, but not sure how with poor service and changing the menu they are going to stay open.

Bravo!
My family & I brought my mom here for lunch today to celebrate her birthday. We were waited on by Olga our most gracious & pleasant server. My mom is very finicky & she was very impressed with her grilled chicken meal which she stressed was very well seasoned, tasty, & very tender. She was also pleased with the decor, music, & Olga. To add to it, Olga brought out a piece of sponge cake soaked in rum which she lit on fire accompanied by festive music & the Mojito staff singing happy birthday to my mom's surprise. Thanks Mojito for making my mom's birthday a blast. We can't wait to return!
