The food is good
While they may not offer authentic korean food or very pungent traditional korean restaurant dishes that one may find the Ktown, I think the food here is really good. I found the fresh ingredients without MSG and overpowering spices very refreshing. I grew up eating Korean food and it resembles the way my mom would prepare the food. Obviously when I took my sister there she loved it!

Never again.
Poor service, seamlessly rude. We love Korean food so we were glad to find out that there is one in our neighborhood where we might be able to keep going back. The restaurant was full when we got there so we were asked to wait at the bar for 15 minutes since there was a table that they can clear out for the two of us soon. We waited for 30 mins and finally we saw them clearing two small tables. Then, entered the restaurant a group of 3 new customers, the host seated them right away. We expected him to come back and seat us because there was still another empty table. But no - we were left waiting at the bar without being informed by the host of how much longer the wait would be. We could no longer tolerate this seamlessly rude service so we paid for our table-waiting-time-killing drink + tips and left the restaurant. We rated O point for service because of poor quality control for this unprofessional service.

Perfect Korean in Brooklyn
Thank goodness I don't have to go to K-town to have good Korean food anymore.. For all those who say Moim isn't K-town, they are correct. The food is pretty authentic (Kim chee chi gae is better than mom's - don't tell) and the kalbi and pork ribs are delicious!! The atmosphere and the bar can't be beat. For all those who complained of small portions and high prices, just look around, the decor is awesome and the legal staff have to be paid for somehow..

Disappointed & Hungry
We ordered Kalbi (marinated Korean ribs) and some stir fried Kimchi and tofu. The food was very delicious, but the servings are unbelievably anemic. For the prices they charge, it is very disappointing. The atmosphere and presentation of the food are quite nice and the interior is chic and comfortable. But be prepared to rack up a huge bill to get a decent amount of food, or go home hungry.

how disappointing!!
What a beautifully designed and elegant restaurant. The presentation of the food itself was also first class. The service was informed and responsive despite the large crowd that was present. It is a shame that the food left so much to be desired. The amusee bouche was miniscule, barely enough for one person, let alone our table of four. The appetizers and main courses were all fairly dull, certainly nothing that one would be quick to request again. Once more, the portions were very inadequate. To add insult to injury, the prices were far too high for the quality and quanity of food presented. We all had looked forward to a new and rewarding experience. Too bad. We won't be back.

worth it for the food
the service was definitely lacking, but i'll go back for the food. the spicing was on point. totally. some of the best korean food i've had in the city, and you could base that just on how it was cooked and the spicing. the flavors were amazing. we had the bi bim bop and the cod with red pepper sauce, both excellent. i plan on coming back soon and trying something new, but i don't think i'll ever be able to show up again and not have that bi bim bop! drinks were on/off... i think from now on i'll just stick with shots of soju (delicous). the service was awkward and inattentive, but the food made up for it all. i will definitely be going back. soon!

not so happy
love korean food.but this place does not cut it. the duck was not impressive at all, the portions were tiny for money. drinks were good, but this is not a bar per se. one major problem is the chef who has passed herself as a chef in major n.y. restuarants, but was only a line cook. no problem with line cook, I think they do most of the cooking , but us park slope crowd aint dumb!
