Formely known as Morakote, this Thai takeout nook—with six linoleum tables crowned by a tin ceiling—serves excellent renditions of noodles and curries. The pad Thai offers chunks of wok-fried, pepper-flecked chicken; duck is a tangy ode to the remarkable variances of tofu. As for the plastic squirt bottle of molten-red Thai sriracha sauce on the table: “There’s spicy and very spicy,” says the waiter with a meaningful point. What he means is a drop or two is enough. The restaurant revels considerate touches such as plump red cushions on the nicked wooden chairs, and globe lights that cast a kind glow on the beautiful floors.

Very good Thai

Went there for lunch was surprise at how well the atmosphere was, very comfortable. The food was great and service was very good.

Thai Spicy!

Their Drunken Noodle always brings me back to streets of Bangkok. Also, they really delivers authentic HOT (spiciness) if you request "Thai Spicy!" Deals are their Lunch special ($10.17 tax & tip included). Lunch special comes with a choice of soup or salad with Thai peanuts dressing and super crunchy fried Spring roll (1) with sweet and spicy dipping sauce.

Best Thai food in NYC

I had a date take me to this restaurant, and let's just say the food left more of an impression on me than the guy. I love thai food, but this restaurant blew away my expectations. The food is a little pricey but it is absolutely worth it. I usually order the drunken noodles and i am always happy with my order. The service is excellent. If you are in the mood for great thai food, you must try this restaurant.
