Get Delivery
The food is very good. I order delivery twice a week and it's always great. Everytime I have eaten there, the service was awful. If you want to go out to dinner with friends, choose someplace else, but if you want great sushi at a reasonable price, invite everyone over and call for delivery.

Great teriyaki
I have searched the city for decent teriyaki chicken and finally found it at Mizu. I order delivery from here at least once a week. Food is great as well as the service.

Really just okay
I agree - it's really nothing to rave about. Granted the special rolls selection is really yummy, but the quality really isn't up to par when compared to those fancy places mentioned below. I agree for the price it's pretty good, but please let's keep things in perspective - it's better than your typical sushi place, but not an unforgettable dining experience. For some reason this place is super hyped up with the post college Murray Hill crowd. Go if you want to "rub shoulders" with them haha.

Simon Says : )
This is by far my favorite sushi/sashimi joint. Whether I am just stopping by to grab the standard lunchtime spicy tuna roll or I am ordering vegetable tempura (super delish!) to the office with my workmates, my taste buds are always impressed. Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous!

Good But Not Great
This is not the best sushi restaurant in NYC by a longshot. I've noticed the reviews on MenuPages tend to exaggerate on the upside. Mizu is a good sushi joint with good fish and tasty rolls. Ambience and service are fine. Please do not think it is a top sushi place, it's not.

Simply the best sushi NYC has to offer
I have eaten at Nobu, Megu, BondSt., Haru, Masa, and many more. Nothing and I mean nothing compares to this place. The fish is tender, fresh and flavorful; the special roles are creative and delectable; and the service is friendly and helpful. This is the type of place that you can count on to have a good meal every visit. If you have not been, you need to go.

Da Bomb
Food: AMAZING! Huge rolls, great apps, everything is delish. Service: average, but def good enough, never any major problems, and i've been there atleast 10 times ATMOSPHERE: the decor is cool, nothing spectacular, but it can get hella loud which can be annoying, but the food and pricing combined make up for any other short comings. LOVE IT!
