I've been to Mizu a couple of times, but the best was before my sister's Bachelorette party. It's a really fun place to do sake bombs, they ring a gong for you! The food is good, not great, but it's a great place to go before going out.

I loved Mizu! Every single part of it. The food especially was great. It was delicious and very fresh. I like loud atmospheres so I liked that too. The price is average and the service is average. I will definitely keep coming back for the food though!

First of all, sushi is almost always wonderful and fresh. However, it is hard to overlook the "rush you out" attitude of the servers. You definitely get the impression that someone there wants the customers out by a certain time everyday (maybe the fact that they close for a few hours before dinner) It might be good, but it isn't so good that this attitude can be overlooked. A very disappointing experience from a place with great potential.

Went here with the girls for lunch the other day and really enjoyed it! The service was a little slow - it took a long time for us to get our food, but it was worth the wait. The sushi was very fresh and the presentation was beautiful. We are so happy we don't have to go to Haru anymore! See you soon Mizu )

My husband and I had a very unpleasant experience at Mizu on a recent visit. Before we had a chance to get seated, a waiter came to ask for our drink orders. We asked for a few minutes to settle in, at which he brusquely took away our menus (we had to ask to get them back.) We received our check, unsolicited, before we were done eating. And, the bus boy tried to snatch away my bowl, still half full, while I was using my chopsticks to remove food from the bowl. It wasn’t as if we were lingering too long and they needed the table, the restaurant was half empty and we were there for under an hour. As for the food, it wasn’t bad, just nothing special. I ordered chirashi which usually comes with sashimi cut fish, at Mizu they use sushi cut for their chirashi and the rice was more the consistency of Thai sticky rice than sushi rice. This could be quibbling over minutia, but with so many excellent choices around, we won’t be returning to Mizu any time soon.

The sushi was pretty good, even though the sushi roll was alright. It was pretty loud during lunch time, and the price isn't cheap. I'm not sure if I'd go there for a conversation, it's too crowded and popular a place. I did like the sushi though.

The food is great, the music is poor. I sacrifice the latter to get a great sushi meal. I won't say it's "a deal" because you are paying for it. It's slightly higher than average pricing. Also, the crowd is pretty young and loud. So if you're looking for a quiet dinner for 2 with more than 6" of arm room, this is not the place to go to.
