Great sushi - poor service.
I completely agree with other reviewers on here: This is hands down the best sushi in williamsburg - BUT it is seriously pricey (like, Manhattan prices) and the service is poor - Just plain unfriendly in an almost bizarre way - as if everyone who works there really hate their job. Good sushi tho...

Take Out Ok But Service Is Just Bad
Used to like the place but better tasting sushi is around the corner and frankly the servers there are just the worst. They give you attitude for no reason and just are not friendly. I've been there plenty if times to say it's consistently bad service. Sushi is ok but the service keeps me from going.

Consistently good, great lunch special.
Mizu is great neighborhood sushi place. The sushi is always fresh and consistent and the lunch special is great. I go there often because you always know what you 're going to get. Good not out of this world sushi and good service. A great place to have a few rolls and a glass of wine. I wouldn't recommend the udon soup , kinda tasteless and blah. And I'm not sure what the entrees are like. Give it a try:)

Portions are ridiculously small
the food is tasty and the prices 'seem' right until you see the portion sizes! You will have to order multiple items before you are full and at that point you will be overspending.

Remarkably Fresh for Cheap
Lunch at Mizu is a score in the way of price and freshness. The sushi lunch is plenty of food, but not ridiculously filling. I couldn't believe the great texture and clean taste of the tuna, and yellowtail. I've only tasted fish that good at much more expensive restaurants. The atmosphere is trendy and fun, not cozy. Glass bottles make up a dividing wall to the kitchen. The service is fine, not especially attentive but easy to get a waitperson's attention.

decent sushi
since i live close by, i get food from this place pretty often. pretty good sushi all the time but one of the waitresses is ALWAYS so rude. never says 'hi' or 'thank you' even tho she's a feet away from me when i pick up food. she just stares at me. i would be having such better inpression about this place if she was not working, or nicer.
