Miyako is great for lunch specials - similar price to other Japanese lunch specials in this neighborhood. However, we prefer the sushi at Miyako. Others have very big chuncks of fish in their rolls and it's just isnt as appetizing. The Cali roll and Boston roll are one of the best we've had delivered to our apartment

We have been going to Miyako Sushi for a couple of years, and not even once were we disappointed. Their fish is always excellent and very fresh, presentation impressive, service very attentive. We love their take out as well. I recommend sushi or sushimi, and make sure that you try some of their rolls: bonsai or dragon roll (my favorite.)

I am rarely impressed enough by a place to post - however - I have to say that since moving to the UWS I have tried all nearby sushi places and Miyako was clearly the best. So, tonight, not in the mood for sushi, I tried something else - Hibachi Chicken - and it is GOOD, healthy - lots of pieces of good chicken with broccoli and mushrooms and scallions - with such a good flavor and for such a good price (plus salad and rice) that I had to make a great review for this place. (Kind of like the healthy alternative to Chinese food, chicken and broccoli.) Also, with the sushi, whenever I ask for a little modification it's always been accurate. And they are always quick to deliver and sometimes throw in something marked "free" if you order a lot (or late).

Have been looking for a good sushi place that delivers to me for a little while, after reading the reviews I figured I'd try. The food was good the price was more than fair. All in all very happy, after all bad sushi is the worst dinning experience one can have.. Food was good, and the delivery was fast. I'll be ordering from them again...

I just had lunch here after not visiting for a few months, and the service and food had deteriorated. We had to signal for a waiter several times before he appeared, the tempura was cold and greasy and nondescript; in fact, I have never had a slice of tempura potato before: I didn't like it. Sushi was fresh and fine, but overall it was a disappointment.

As other people have said this place is great for lunch specials. The rolls are always fresh and delivery is practically as soon as you hang up the phone. It's very reasonable prices and I love opening to see what freebie they have sent me. Couldn't recommend more.

I love Miyako Sushi - the sushi is incredibly fresh and the hot food is delicious. On Mondays you can eat all the sushi you want for like $20. Yum!
