Not great takeout
When it first opened, the takeout was great: fresh and tasty. As often happens with the pop-up restaurants that populate the Village, after a couple months the takeout quality takes a plunge. Last night will be my last: pale and mushy salmon sushi, odd-tasting and sweet ikura, average Cali roll. No excuse for that on a Friday night...

Great value, but pushy service!
So I took a girl there for a second date. She got pretty simple stuff and loved it. I got a few of the more "complex" rolls and it was also great. The price was well worth what we got. The only downside was that the service was very pushy towards the beginning, coming over at least 4 times before we had even looked at the menu. Overall, it was a great place with fresh, tasty sushi.

Fresh
I ordered Miyabi for delivery the other day after reading some mixed reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The person who took my order was very friendly and when I orded the spicy naturo roll he recommened I order the toro since it was just delivered that morning. I also got the seaweed salad and the Fall Roll and the salmon was so fresh and delicious! The white tuna sashimi melts in your mouth but the yellowtail is a little tough. All in all, a great meal though!

the best around
i order from miyabi once or twice a week. i have met friends for lunch there on numerous occassions and all of them have wanted to return. tom, the owner, now knows me personally and remembers my favorite dishes and how i like them prepared. it's a great place to order in for lunch or dinner and the perfect place to meet friends. very casual, delicious food, courteous staff.

Great Food
The fish is fresh and the spicy rolls are well made. I have ordered many times and never been slightly unhappy. The beef negimaki and eel rolls are also delicious.

pretty yummy spicy rolls
pretty decent for sushi! not as amazing as the reviews said, pretty good though. the new york salad was delicious while eating but kind of gross afterwards. a little too heave on the sauce and mayonaise for certain sauces. other then that, pretty good sushi...

The best sushi in NY
Miyabi hands down beats most of the other sushi in its price range. I have tried many other places, others even more expensive than Miyabi and have found Miyabi is continually fresh and has great service. My favorite is Spicy Tuna.
