Best Soulfood in NYC. Service is slow. Old Ladies in the kitchen! It's worth the wait. I try to eat here once a week.

The food was good. Ribs are very tender, cooked just right collards good. The fish very well seasoned crisp and fresh, okra and tomatoes so good. The cornbread taste like home made from grandma's house . Will come back again soon.

I tried this place for the first time yesterday (they delivered). They got very good reviews. I don't know who's eating this food, but I cook MUCH BETTER than they do here. The potato salad was a plate full of mush (couldn't even make out that there was potato in it...looked like baby food). The mac & cheese was tasteless and the chicken was under-seasoned and forgetable. I wouldn't waste my money on this food.
