    I loved it!

I sat at the bar and had a couple sake mixtures. Loved the vibe, the music, the jerk chicken entree and festivals were fabulous.

    Shenanigans

Shenanigans is the best word to describe what goes down at this restaurant. The first time a friend took me here without a reservation, and we were told we HAD to sit in the front of the empty restaurant in the corner by the window because we were walk-ins. So we walked out. We returned a week later with reservations, wanting to try the food and was made to wait by the bar for 20 mins, when there were over 7 open tables , one being literally a foot in front of us. It just made no sense at all. It was so silly and weird I thought I was on candid camera and began looking around for a red record light. I don't know what it is about this restaurant and their desire to make customers feel "lucky" or privileged to be eating there but they have it all wrong and the shenanigans need to stop. The food is good but overpriced. I wouldn't return to this restaurant if God requested. If you are looking for authentic delicious Jamaican food, with quick service and at a great price, book a trip on Jetblue and fly to Montego bay. Believe me, you will save time and money versus going to Miss Lily's. Seriously.

    Slow service, mediocre food

Went to Miss Lily's at 130 W. Houston. Waited 22 minutes for a sandwich. My friend who ordered after me got his in 10 minutes. By the time we got back to work we were late, his sandwich was cold, and mine was mediocre at best.

    Magical spot!

This place is like no other! Great for girls not wanting to be bothered and meet people that have actually something interesting to say. Food, drinks, staff + prices are very nice. Fun place to go to on top of what a restaurant usually offers. They have the touch!

    Terrible service

I visited Miss Lily's last night with a group of friends. We had a 9.30pm reservation, and our mains were served at 11.45pm. It is the most disappointing and arrogant service I have ever experienced.

    Domino sunday brunch sooooo fun

It's cute and fun . . can become like a second home to go regularly, Caribbean food doesnt mean cheap food, i dont know who told people that. . . when its not a pattie shop or a take away Jamaicain franchise which has its place, i know places right on flatbush where steam fish and okra plate 17 bucks . . and the place is no where near as cute as miss lilys. . . on top of that any kind of food served in a manhattan restaurant food price becomes relative to manhattan cost. . . . its a cool spot . . thats my take on it . . the dominoe sunday is fun . . it really is! . . one!

    dont believe the hype

the food is decent, in quality and taste.. but over-priced for what it is. staff has table snobbery and keep the best tables open for people more important than you.. lol.. and the pretentious crowd does not mix well with the informal jamaican vibe they are going for. the place seems like one big oxymoron to me. you're better off $kipping it and heading to brooklyn for some real jamaican fare at a fraction of the cost.
