very good
1- I was in New York City for tow week and used to have breakfast and lunch at Miss K's. The food is very delicious and the prices are very convenient, especially for Manhattan. Highly recommended. Excellent food quality and service in general, and I really like their salad bar and sandwiches. You can drop by anytime since it's 24/7. good quality and customer satisfaction for the money paid.

Outrageously Expensive
$6.99 for a 1/2 gallon of milk?? $3.50 for eggs? The prices here are arbitrarily made up upon the whim of the cashier. Prices are not listed anywhere, nor are they consistent from cashier to cashier. If you ask the cashiers about the over pricing, they suddenly don't speak English.

OK, inconsistent, overall poor service
I usually only go there for lunch. The prices are a littel high. The service is amazingly slow, even though they have a ton of guys behind the counter. Service is better when the mgr. is around, but usually the guys are goofing off if he is not watching them.

Not bad for a NY Deli
Miss K's is a step above, they try to keep the place decent. There is really nothing special here, it is good for Lunch, the sandwiches are OK, nothing extraordinary. They have a ton of people behind the counter, but the service is not any faster than a 2 man operation? Also, the same food item could cost you a different price every time you go there. Overall, good for lunch, salad bar, steam table, sandwiches, specials.

Okay, it ain't The Rainbow Room...
For lunch, it's the best turkey sandwich you can get. Each weekday, these folks roast a whole turkey, and not a small one, either; it never surivives past sunset. This is a fresh turkey sandwich, and they'll even put cranberry sauce on it, for cryin' out loud---it's like the sandwich you eat after Thanksgiving Dinner, while watching football! Hot bar is the best around, and their eggplant parm heros are formidable, too. Fast service, decent tables upstairs, and if you're the kind of wage slave I am, and have to eat at your desk, make it this food. You deserve it!

Great Little Deli & Buffet!
We we in town for 4 nights recently and we ate at Miss K's 2 times. We didn't know the area, but I did a little research on MenuPages and this was close to our hotel (Grand Union). Very convenient, great food, service and value. They have just about everything you could want in the little store as well. Super little place to pop into and know you will get good food for a very reasonable price.

Excellent!
We recently stayed at Hotel ThirtyThirty, Miss K's is just over the road. Miss Ks has a store attached where you can buy general groceries then you walk through to the food area. The guys behind the counter are very nice and very helpful. |You can choose from the salad bar or buffet. The buffet has delicious, chicken, fish, mashed potatoes, vegetables, pasta and other different hot and cold foods. You fill up your box and it's weighed and you are then charged by the lb. Delicious, especially the pasta! Miss K's also serves different sandwiches and paninis, you can go there for breakfast, lunch and dinner or just when you are hungry, they have great cheesecake too and a wide variety of drinks. You can stay in and eat upstairs or take out. Miss Ks is delicious, with a massive variety of food. Will definitely be returning here.
