The sushi is very fresh. I found it to be of a higher quality than many local sushi joints. While it is more expensive than many cheap sushi restaurants, it is obviously less expensive than the upscale sushi restaurants that its food mirrors. In summary, the decor / atmosphere is that of any old sushi place, but the food is on par with the Nobu or Haru. Unfortunately, they won't make rolls or sushi with brown rice.

The food here is very good, and the waitstaff are nice. The atmosphere is a bit shabby - not a place you'd take someone to show off, but if you want well prepared, high quality sushi it's a good bet. Prices are not cheap but reasonable. I like this place and have lunch here often, and i'm pretty picky about Japanese food.

We have lived in the 'hood for a couple years now and Mishima is still the consistent favorite. Fresh fish, great specials--love the lobster miso--and solid service.

Pretty standard, nothing special. Sushi slopped together pretty quickly. Fish did not seem all that fresh. Nice sake tasting selection, but that's about it. Go only if you have no other option.

I have been ordering from Mishima for years, and have never been disappointed! The fish is always fresh, and delicious!

Food is ok - your standard sushi. They will not substitute any ingredients though, even for an allergy. They are unfriendly and provide bad customer service when an order is wrong.

Make sure they include utensils! They always forget for me.
