Attitude
I have never come across such attitude, out of nowhere, from a waitress. I will go so far as to say she ruined both my lunch and my day. That aside, the food was boring, fatty, unevenly cooked. I don't get people who obsess over this restaurant. I pity them! Will never go back.

Disappointing!
My husband and I stopped going here about a year ago when we had a couple of disappointing meals in a row. We decided to give it another try. It started off strong. The spanikopita and calamari meze were delicious, but it went downhill from there. My couscous with seafood was under seasoned. I had to add salt more than once. The calamari was overcooked and chewy. My husband's chicken shwarma was just a huge pile of mediocre meat on top of a soggy pita. Maybe brunch is better?

Amazing bday dinner
Went to Miriam tonight with my family for my birthday dinner and had one of the best meals of my life! The beet ravioli is out of this world, the burekas appetizer is incredible and the desserts are not to be missed. I will definitely be back.

Recommended for dinner
I know everyone raves about the brunches, but we went to Miriam for dinner and had every little "mezze" appetizer they offer--it was delicious, the food was very fresh and the combinations were very cool--meatballs and a plum sauce was my favorite. Brunch is better if you have kids; for dinner, the restaurant is a lot more romantic, so I would leave the kids at home.

Love Love Love Miriam
I love dining at Miriam. I make sure to stop by whenever I'm in Park Slope. The food is great and so is the wine list. I've never had a bad meal there or bad service. Mediterranean salad is to die for. For dessert try the knafe. It's also just a really beautiful place.

AWFUL Service at Brunch
On 9/13, a friend and I arrived for brunch at 2.30 pm. We were seated and a guy brought us water and menus. Our waitress took our order and we didn't see her again for 25-30 minutes. She sat down at a table in the back to eat. Now this is fine but when she came back around and I asked her for a refill on the order, she went over to the order, spoke to him and then went back to her table to drink her beverage. I didn't get a refill for 10 minutes. At that point, we asked if coffee was supposed to come with the brunch. She replied, We can't be giving coffee out to everyone--you should have asked. Needless to say, she didn't get a tip. The food was good but her attitude was a huge turn-off. A nicer atmosphere can be found elsewhere with just as good a brunch, if not better.
