It is only fitting that the San Carlos finds Mint as a partner to open a resteraunt. My wife and I often stay at the San Carlos and were quite excited to eat at Mint, the food, service and ambience were just great, it can get very busy at times but a reservation took care of it. The food were adequatly spiced and portions just right, the lamb chops, saffron shrimp and the Goat Biryani were excellent, the drinks and dessert are paired very well with their food, give Mint a try you wont be dissappointed.

Five of us went there for lunch and there were two other small parties there, so you'd think we would get more attention. The service was slow and the waiters didn't know what the soup or the appetizers of the day were. We sensed an overall lack of effort.

My son and I are visiting NYC on business. Staying close to Lexington, we could not miss the bright green inviting awning of the restaurant every time we passed by, so we decided to check it out. The food was good, we asked it to be less spicy, as my son does not stand spicy food very well, and they did a good job. We relished the chicken samosa and chicken kebab. The place seemed busy but service was good. Relaxing atmosphere after a busy day and a good selection of wines. Don't know why, but our dessert was on the house. All in all, we had a very pleasant experience.

We are visiting from Florida, so we didn't know what to expect. We picked it from the menu on this site. The food was great. Very hip they played rap style music.. The chef sent out some extra items. We got there at 2pm, and had a leisurely late lunch. If you are looking for great food without the traditional Indian Food experience, try it! It was worth the price.

We had a small party and they were kind enough to seat six people in their private room meant for eight, while it was a Tuesday it did get busy and dinner was a leisurely two plus hour activity without any pressure to eat and leave. Service was attentive for the most part but not to much in your face. Food: Excellent presentation, good-sized portions, everything was fresh and overall quality was excellent. Appetizers: The crab cakes and Lamb Seekh Kebab were very flavorful with the correct amount of spices. Entries: My lamb was cooked perfectly and others reported being satisfied with their Wild Sea Bass, Chicken or Vegetarian dishes. The only thing they need work on is making a good cappuccino, beyond that I would rate this new spot in Midtown very high. In addition, they have beef listed on the menu however; they do not make it any longer, apparently due to lack of demand we were told. We did not have desert as there was a birthday cake as the main event however, they certainly look good to the eye and am sure to try the next visit. The price is higher then your standard Indian restaurant however, Mint is more, more relaxed from their use of lighting and colors, more pleasant and slow paced dinning to a staff that wants to accommodate. Being new means they need to make a name for themselves and they succeeded. They don’t mint money but they do mint high-grade cuisine.

I was passing by the place and thought to go in and check this new place out. To my surprise, I found MINT as one of the best place to have parties or a quite dinner. The colours are awesome, the ambience is just great. The bar is full of wide range of liquors. Food is fantastic and very tasty, just when you need to have the change. The staff is very freindly and explains the dishes so that you can order what is best for you. Guys, give a try...believe me its worth it!

A group of four of us ate at Mint last night and loved it! The staff is gracious, attentive and friendly, the decor is beautiful and the food was delicious. Mint has a energetic, hip vibe, but at the same time is quiet enough for good conversation at dinner. The bar is also beautiful. A new favorite restaurant!
