I'm an indian and very critical when it comes to food. This is the best Indian food I have had in America. It's expensive. But definitely the ideal place for a special occasion. I had the Mint Paneer, Chicken lababdaar & dal makhani. It was all exceptionally good. Try the kheer/pudding for dessert. I ate sooo much. Just coudn't stop. I very highly recommend it.

Food is good, very less oily. Way up high on price. Not worth the money the appetizers. Worth going in the evening, lunch I would pass....

I have eaten in many Indian restaurants but not that many in NYC, if you want to pay a lot of money for a poor menu with over inflated prices and inadequate service from staff that have no idea on how to wait a table, then roll on up with a plastic card but leave your taste buds at home.

Me and my girlfriend visited this place last night. First of all, the decor was amazing. The food was amazing as well. They pay attention to detail, its not your typical spicy and greasy place. The food has amazing taste and hits your tounge in ways you wouldnt imagine. We ordered the Mint Paneer, Vegatable Birayani, and various sides....all of it was great. The Mint Paneer is to die for. Our drink was not that great. We ordered the Bollywood Tini and it was average at best. Overall, this is now my favorite high end indian spot in the city...

An Indian restaurant that is. Last night, I treated my parents to dinner at Mint for their anniversary. My mom, who loves Indian cuisine, said that the entres at Mint were probably the best she had tasted. No doubt, the tandoor lamb chops grilled to perfection were the best we had ever tasted. Service was prompt, had to wait a few minutes to be seated as the place was busy. The waiter was very friendly and helpful in providing details about some of the exoctic dishes. Soothing ambiance and ample wine list. Overall, amazing dining experience. My parents were thrilled.

Listen up. I've been to all the best Indian restaurants on both coasts, London and of course India. I've also been to a few hole in the wall joints that were quite good too. I think Mint is over-rated. The dishes were not very flavorful and and had uninspired sauces. Prices are on the high side, service was ok. On a positive note the decor is unique as far as Indian establishments go, though I do not really care to eat in basements as the views are non existent. With so many other choices around you, I would skip this one.

My partner chose mint as our second anniversary dinner for 3, mint was the right choice, the food was good, service very attentive and the ambiance was excellent. Our server took great care of us, the choice for vegetarians is huge and they aim to please. The specialty drinks are excellent and the wines paired well with the food, it was a little noisy but it was none the less alot of fun. You will not be dissappointed.
