I pas this place everyday on my way to work and said i was going to try it one day. well, today was the day. i chkd out the reviews and felt more confident about it. OMG THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE. i had the chicken shahi korma. sooo good. i also tried the samosa's bc so many of the reviews mentioned them....I was very very happy i tried this place. i got a lil heartburn but it was just what the dr. ordered, lol

The food is delicious, there is no doubt about that, but the service sucks big time. They are rude to customers they don't know how to deal with customers. Just walk in once, you'll get to know what I'm talking about. Even though the food is good, I'm not going there again....

This place puts "curry hill" to shame. I live in the area and have had a chance to try most of the Indian places here. I have come to the conclusion that Minar most definitely puts crack cocaine and opium derivatives in their dishes they are addictive. Minar's Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Korma are i-n-s-a-n-e. For shits and giggles, get the dish from Minar, Haandi, and Curry in a Hurry (the latter 2 places are curry hill landmarks) and compare. Minar's dish is creamy and flavorful. The latter are watered down and plain. Nuff said.

Awesome food, great price. Wonderful samosas...usually. Every once and a while things wont go quite right and the food won't be up to it's usual delicious standard, but it's so worth the gamble, because when it is it's some of my favorite. That said, even when it's off it's better than most of the Indian in the city. Not fancy, cafeteria atmosphere (which i actually like), just really really good food at great prices.

I'm a PhD student studying nearby 34th Street and finally discovered this "hidden treasure." The food is incredible!! I had the Mattar Paneer with Naan and Roti. I also had an order of Samosas. Just like my mom makes!!! I found the array of Indian/Indian American newspapers and display of Little India important for connecting with South Asian affairs. The service is fast and the food is fresh. Enjoy!!

This place is absolutely delicious. I work in the Neighborhood and always order from here. I have never been to the actual establishment, but they are very polite on the phone and I have never been dissapointed with anything I have ordered! Really, really great Indian food.

Minar is my favorite Indian restaurant in the city. It is homestyle food with a price that can't be beat. Love it.
