Delivery was fast. Lamb bhuna and garlic naan tasted very nice. Enough for two people at $15 for both dish and bread. Would go again.

I ordered Kofta Curry to go. When I got home, I was dismayed to find the proportions way off. There was enough rice for 2 to 4 people and enough vegetable balls (2) for half a person. If I'd gotten this meal for $3, I'd think it was OK. But I paid more than twice that. I called to complain, but they didn't care one bit. A disappointment!

We ordered take away this evening; despite reading quite a few comments about slow delivery, the food arrived within 45 minutes (as promised). The dishes were great ... once we reheated them (they arrived a little cold). Would we order from here again? Sure, it was good food - we'd give them another (1) chance to deliver it hot.

I enjoy their food and the delivery used to be quick but it is awful now. The last times my co workers and I have ordered the delivery time is well over an hour, almost two hours sometimes. We don't make large orders or place them during peak lunch hour. They are rude on the phone and unapologetic when they tell you that your order over an hour ago still hasn't left for delivery.

Phoning through an order is an ordeal. They are brusk, abrasive, put you on hold in the middle of a conversation, get the order wrong and then snap at you when you want to confirm or change. I had to go and pick up myself after they kept me waiting for over an hour the other day, and they were very hostile when I went in person. The look on their faces when I didn't give a tip was rather amusing. The food however, really is good.

Based on the positive reviews I read on this site, I decided to try Minar. I ordered a chicken saag for delivery and the meat was undercooked with lots of cartilage and bone, and the curry was atrocious. The spices were not mixed properly--every bite tasted like a different spice. Maybe this was a fluke, but I disliked the food very much last night.

Authentic south indian food. Very good value-low on atmosphere but the food is good-excellent lunch option for those working in the neighborhood. Recommend the utthapam and dosas.
