This place is awesome. It's like going to a show and getting a meal for free. When we walked in and there was a women singing with the piano player. We thought it was a duet, but later found out it was actually an open "mic." The piano player was hysterical and really entertaining accompanied by some good, talented random singers. The food is great, I had the Veal Marsala. I highly recommend it. We finished our meal with a Tartufo ice cream that we were able to split. When the bill came we were both surprised how reasonable the prices are. A great New York restaurant.

Since as far as I can remember we have been coming to Manhattan on a yearly basis. We are a very close family and love our traditions. On the first night in the city that never sleeps we go on autopilot to Mimi's. It symbolizes NYC for us. The food is great and the ambiance, ahh the ambiance, it is fabulous. Mimi's feels like coming home for us. I give it an A+! I'm looking forward to the next time we are there. Ciao!

Okay..... don't want to spend a lot and get a good seat by the window? Mimi's is the place. Service a little slow, but bread is good, stuffed mushrooms better, salad standard, and the price is reasonable...

Mimi's is a tradition for my family. Whenever we are in NY, Mimi's is a MUST visit. We love the cozy atmosphere and the red/white checked table cloths. The food is fabulous!

Where else can you find such a charming place, where everyone is so friendly. It's congenial piano player, open mike make this red sauce Italian a very fun evening. It's really not about the food (which is hardy and not all that bad) but about the ambience and the charming crowd that frequent this place...Play it again Sam.

Food was mediocre at best. Canned mushrooms were used in the Veal Marsala. Service was slow. The piano player is pretty awful. The one thing that is redeeming about this place is that its nice to sit at a table beside an open window when the weather is nice out.
