The worst take out food I've ever experienced
The meat lasagna turned out to be meatless sue me if there was any more than half an ounce of " make believe granules of ...who knows what". But prior to that I realized the cream/cheese was curdled .....! had to discard the whole of it along with the invested $10.00 The lasagna included 4 strips of lasagna, a mount of unrecognizable items drowned in red and I must say a generous a portion of cheap shredded cheese. I tried calling to speak with a manager and was put on hold for 15 minutes, after which I hung up.

Reliable
I've lived in neighborhood for over 20 years and Mimi's has always been here. Best slice around.

Over and over we go and order because it is consistent great local NYC pizza.

Good Pizza
It's been there forever & the reason is because the pizza is so good. Current owner took it over from his father many years ago. I remember Danny Aiello singing while he waited for his meal. And Paul & Linda McCartney enjoying their pie while sitting in a booth in the back of the shop...

Classic
This place has been around for years and the pizza has always been the best! One of the owner's is very friendly and remembers me every time- even though I don't go often. It's a little on the pricey side for a slice of pizza, but I think it's worth it!

Excellent plain cheese pizza.
My wife and I love plain cheese pizza. I go out of my way to order from every local pizza spot to sample their stuff and Mimi's just rocks. And their potato croquets are a delicious filling bargain.

Good Pizza
When I order over the phone, the employees are always very courteous and speak perfect English. They bring whatever I orderwith nothing missing, and cook to order (example: I ordered lightly cooked and they complied). The pizza is above average for a local pizzaria. Yummy, awesome cheese, great sauce, and thick crust. Warning: not for thin crusted pizza fans. A slight criticism is that the pizzas are sometimes a bit overcooked, so ordering lightly cooked pizza can balance that to perfection. The store itself is what you would call a typical pizzaria: it is what it is, nothing more and nothing less. They bring you your food quickly, and show off their good service. A good place to order from, or to visit for a quick, yummy meal. 4/5 as an overall pizzaria: great stuff, Mimi's.
