Delivery is ridiculous
This place is ridiculous for delivery. Time and time again they are very late. Sometimes well over an hour from time of call. Given the food is mediocre at best (though the only Korean in the neighborhood), its just not worth the roll of the dice on whether you are going to get dinner.

Great food at an even greater price
The Korean Mill, formerly a drug store, serves up some authentic Korean food. I recommend their hot stone pots and scallion pancakes. The hot plates may take some to cool, but they are amazing. I also recommend their grilled squid and pork. They have great dumps (dumplings).

disappoints me every time
Damn, I get this craving for korean food sometimes and this restaurant is the only korean restaurant in the area, i think. and it gets me EVERY time. I always try to convince myself that it's good enough just to taste the koreanness, but it's just plain bad. The taste is unpleasant, the service is unpleasant, it's just not good. i can't even call it "decent." the price isn't reasonable because of the taste. I just ordered Bibim Naeng Myun which is supposed to be a bowl of spicy noodles, and they forgot to give me the f***king spice, which is the most important ingredient after the noodles itself. oh my gosh, am i pissed right now. i can't believe I wsted money on this s**t. Please, unless you are absolutely going to die if you don't consume korean food within 10 minutes in your belly, do yourself a favor and go downtown around 32nd and get yourself some good korean food. it's just not worth it.

great lunch deal
Visiting New York last week and chanced into the Mill at lunch time. Ordered the Bento box with spicy pork and was delighted with all aspect of the meal. At under 8 dollars the food quality and quantity could not have been better.

It's alright
Food could be better. It's not the best Korean food as far as taste and service, but it's not bad. It's the only one near Columbia. Kinda expensive, but lunch deals are pretty good. If you have a craving and can't find anywhere else, you should go.

This is a cozy mom and pop restaurant with good Korean food. Consistent food and service over many years. I like how it is an alternative to all the "pan-asian" restaurants in this area. Outdoor seating option when weather is nice.

A little stingy?
Been going here for over 10 yrs. I know it's not authentic Korean but it totally suffices since I'm always on campus and there is nothing like this place for miles. My biggest gripes about this place have been the quality of the meat (sometimes pieces like shoe leather and others are too fatty), the tight seating, and the way they frantically stack up the chairs 1/2 hr before closing. But, as crazy as it may sound, I still LOVE this place and go very regularly. The last two times I was there I got the rice cakes that were served with 1/8 of the sauce that they have typically been served with over the past 10+ yrs. It was really dry. This time, I was so stunned that I couldn't help but politely point it out. They graciously took the plate back and, when they brought it back to me, it looked like they had poured no more than an additional teaspoon on the cakes. There was no sauce on the plate and barely any on the cakes whereas, in the past, the cakes were drowning in the sauce and the sauce from the plate could be scooped up with a spoon I have nothing at all against this place but for $7.95 for a plate of rice cakes they really shouldn't cut back so tremendously on the sauce. They know me as a regular, I always leave more than a 20% tip and I never have given them a hard time.
