Great Value, Delicious Food
May not be the healthiest option in the world, but any place where one can spend under $10 for a very tasty meal that will easily feed two is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. NB: Even though they close around 7, they are usually out of most dishes by then.

The food is really good
The food is really authentic Dominican!! The service is OK but it's worth it once you get you food.

Great Food and Friendly Service
This is my lunch spot of choice when working in the area. The food is excellent, portions are downright enormous, and you get a chance to practice your spanish with the delightful, attentive and bilingual waitstaff. Try to save room for a dessert like the excellent bread pudding (pudin de pan), but I wont blame you if you cant! A highly recommended value of the old school variety.
