Since the new owner arrived in summer 2012 the integrity & quality of ingredients have fallen to the curb. I live across the street & used to order from Mike's at least 3-4 times per week. My business with them has dwindled to @ 2x per month & I have been continually disappointed with the inferior ingredients & poor execution of cooking. On an upside the service & staff still provide service with a smile. In short, the new owner is being pennywise but $ foolish. When Grimaldi's opens in March 2013 this place might be in trouble if they dont step up thier game!

mikes pizza has good pizza. they were open during the hurricane and they gave us pizza for the same price. I had no electricity, so the fact that they were open was great!

So nice to have Mike's Pizza as a neighborhood staple. Everything is homemade in their own kitchen. I'm a sucker for flavorful, zesty, thin-crust pizza. Mike's sorta delivers that. Their cheese is top-quality. Their sauce is pretty decent too. I wish there was semolina on the bottom of the crust, but that's just me. Their ingredients are top-quality. Order a green pepper pizza and you get fresh--not canned--green peppers. Ditto for their mushrooms. But I really do love their pastas, baked items, and sandwiches too. You can get a truly special handmade hero at Mike's. their salads are also great. And the Mike's staff are really great. Friendly and patient. And they seem legitimately appreciative for your business. What a revelation in Manhattan!

I've eaten here since I can remember- it used to be on 25th st. I've moved away from the neighborhood, but always come back. Nothing compares to Mikes!

I think that the pizza is great and same with the value, but its usally crowded in there that it takes you like 10 minutes just to get a fresh slice of pizza, but its worth it and when you eat their pizza, it makes you want to eat more

So relieved to find Mike's. I'm not a fan of the other pizzerias in the neighborhood. Mike's is like the pizza I knew growing up in Brooklyn. Crust and sauce are both good. Toppings are fresh. Ask for your pie well done.
