They served me imitation Salmon Raw (Ikura), it is just like crab stick (imitation crab) instead of real crab legs. Disappoining.. Will never go back

Well I don't want everyone to know about it, but what a fantastic deal and place! The food is very good but it can't be a place you "go for the night" it is the local place with friends for sushi and a good time. I really enjoy going.

By chance I had decided to spend an evening in Greenwich when plans to visit a friend in L.I. were cancelled at the last moment. My girlfriend was driving to meet me there so as I was waiting I bought her a gift, browsed some shops and decided to have something to eat. I stumbled upon Mikado and it is by far one of the best Japanese bistro/sushi bars I've been too. The atmosphere isn't overpowering or cluttered nor does it attempt to be "too Asian". The staff is very polite and quick to attend to patrons. The food was out of this world. I ordered a Dragon with a bowl of white rice and green tea. Spectacular. When I had finally met up with my girlfriend at Washington Square Park, I went back there with her after having eaten there only an hour before. A must see restaraunt.

Mikado was under my nose the whole time I had been looking for a great Japanese restaurant in the area. The food and service are both amazing and the atmosphere is exactly as you want it - laid back but without the wait. An additional benefit is that when you order for delivery it's hassle free and the food is just as good as when you're in the restaurant. Not something you can find easily. Don't forget to add the oshinko appetizer to your next order! Mikado = Awesome!

This is a great Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. The food is great and it's very inexpensive but the atmosphere is really low key and nice.
