Ordered a smoked sausage and a couple of traditional bbq sides, yam and slaw. The sausage had little smoke flavor and tasted like chorizo cooked on a skillet. A great bbq joint also has great sides which this place does not have. Unfortunately a disappointment considering all the rave reviews.

Visiting NY, my son took me to Mighty Quinn's. I was very pleased with the BBQ. Being from the South, I enjoy bbq on a regular basis, and MQ was as good as any I have had before. I had the beef brisquet sandwich--very good--tender and juicy. Their house sauce is very well done. My wife had the ribs and they were also very tasty. Would recommend to anyone.

I love this place...the concept, the atmosphere, the feel of actually being at a family BBQ, and of course the smokey tender cuts of meat. What more can I say, probably some of the best BBQ in NYC or anywhere.

It's all great here! Really. This is one if the best BBQ joints in Manhattan. Tops here are the Beef Short Rib, Burnt End Beans(so good) and the pork Ribs. Pulled pork is a bit oily, but really you can't go wrong. Love this place.

I've been to MQs several times and have had the brisket, the sausage and the chili multiple times and the beef rib once. The beef rib was good, not great. The chili was good, not great, also, although it was demonstrably better one time than the other times. Which leads to my criticism: MQs is wildly inconsistent. Once I ordered the sausage and it was quite good. The next time, it was served drowned in a bizarre, sweet sauce and it was sub par. As for the brisket, one time it was amazing. Transcendent. Another time it was good. But the last time it was dry, tasteless. I didn't even finish the serving. So I don't know what to make of this place. At its best, it's fantastic. But at its worst, it's pretty poor. And the problem is that you don't know which restaurant is gonna show up when you walk through the door.
