    They are great!!

This place is DA BOMB... I work nights in the area and this was my 330 am lunch break delivery spot... The food is great... the service is great, this is the type of place that if you call enough, they dont need to ask for an address, or even your regular order.

    I only order from here

Love midtown restaurant. it's the only place i ever order from. they are fast, dependable, and my food is always delicious. I would recommend ordering from there over actually going there however.

    unacceptable service

I waited over an hour even though they claim 20 minutes and and my food was freezing cold. The staff was rude & unhelpful. This was my first and last experience ordering from this place...

Best neighborhood 'diner' in east midtown

Midtown Restaurant is a very dependable spot for a casual meal and take out. Open 24/7 they serve fresh food of diner type choices but also full meals, Greek specialties, like moussaka and spanakopita, very good Italian lasagna, other tasty meals and Brunch on Sunday. It is NYC priced, but worth it. The staff and owners aim to please. I am fortunate that they right in my neighborhood.

    Good Food

If you are not too picky and not too cheap then the midtown is for you. Great Portuguese dishes all for under $20 and the portions are made for two, serve to one. Me and my friends come here to share a meal with freshly made drinks and great deserts. The onion rings are wonderful. The Combo is a great start to any meal. I would so take anyone here to finish a day of intense shopping.

    First time take out

I ordered the chicken gyro, and it was not good. You know why? Because the meat was fake. It was from that pre-packaged crap!!! It wasn't meat off the spit...it was from a box! How in the world could they do that?! And then have the nerve to charge $12?! Never ever ordering that again.

    Shouldve gone with my instinct

My mother and I walked past so many diners determined to find this one because of so many good reviews. We had just gotten into town and when we saw that the diner was dead on a Sunday morning in NYC, living in the city we should've known to find another diner. However we ate there. Our waitress was a witch. I ordered pancakes and I love all kinds of pancakes and put them in syrup. I couldn't put them in the syrupor they would taste worse then they would dry. Her omelette was not good either. If we were not so tired we would have left.
