I've been patronizing this diner for many years. It's my breakfast spot. I love the staff, especially Maria, she's my favorite, sweet and attentive. The breakfast is great.

I think their food is too expensive for the quality and service is rude. Name calling. Easily frustrated and angered. I waited more than 1 hour for a 10 block delivery. bad service. i will not go again.

As a Local East Side Restaurant its good as a morning-breakfast place. It is pricey and not very clean, especially the rest-rooms. I would recommend 3 Decker on 91. DON’T order delivery especially at night, food always overdone and little care in food preparation.

I normally order out to this place on a regular basis. However, I've tried to go to brunch their twice and it was not a good experience. The first time our waitress was pushy, rude, made snide remarks to us and generally made us not even want to be there. As if we were a inconvenience. We shrugged it off and tried again. Once again, different waiter, but the same rude remarks and attitude toward us. When we did not place our orders fast enough he growled at us stating "C'mon! You're killing my frickin table!" and stormed off. That's the second time I've been treated poorly at Midnight Express and the second time that I've complained. I've never had to complain about anything before at a diner/restaurant and I didn't enjoy having to do it.

I will not order delivery from here ever again. Ice cold tuna melt with barely melted cheese, unwanted tomato, undercooked fries, and nasty slimy coleslaw. They don't seem interested in putting out good food, or even in trying. Best value and service in the neighborhood is 3 Decker (closes early), and Viand on 86th puts out a nice plate, even for delivery. Skip Midnight Express. After several tries, I'm fed up.
