Little care on a delivery.
I will not order delivery from here ever again. Ice cold tuna melt with barely melted cheese, unwanted tomato, undercooked fries, and nasty slimy coleslaw. They don't seem interested in putting out good food, or even in trying. Best value and service in the neighborhood is 3 Decker (closes early), and Viand on 86th puts out a nice plate, even for delivery. Skip Midnight Express. After several tries, I'm fed up.

Love it
We love this place - the burger is so good and the desserts are pretty legit. love going and have had the same waiter everytime who is absolutely phenomenal. can't say anything bad.

Not as good as rated
Food is standard and at times I found the salads to be a bit ragged. I live nearby so I was really hoping to have this as my steady but it just didn't happen. Still searching.

great local diner with poor service
This place has a lot of good things going for it: large menu, 24-hour service, good prices and reasonably tasty food (nothing spectacular, but you won't be disappointed, either). However, the service is really quite atrocious. The waiter had trouble communicating, had limited familiarity with the menu, spilled sauce on the floor and made mistakes with the check. Come back and enjoy yourself, but don't expect to be treated like royalty.

Great food...poor service
The only two things you need to know: 1) the food is great. 2) the waitstaff is rude, mean, aggressive, pushy, and makes inappropriate remarks to each other.

Excellent UES Diner
Can't believe this place has been here 35 years and I never knew... have tried the burgers, eggs benedict and fried chicken and all were fabulous. Been looking for good eggs benedict in the neighborhood for a long time and it is thrilling to find them at last. The service and phone order staff were just fine in my experience.
