Not Happy
After ordering a hamburger, fries and specifically "no pickle please" the waitress is not paying attention when serving and a few of the fries land on my lap and the table. When I look up and realize there is a pickle on the plate and tell her she reaches over and takes if off my plate with her fingers. I was shocked. I realize at this point not to send it back or order anything else because god knows what they would have done to my food in the kitchen. Terrible experience!

A glimpse of hyperinflation
$57 for three average hamburgers? Are you kidding me! $98 for a family of four (2-preteens), one glass of Malbec and 20% tip. The chicken parm was soggy, the pasta not much better. This restaurant is all about location and nothing about good quality or preparation.

Loved it!!
I went here with my family a few weeks ago, and had a great experience!! It has a great view of Central Park. Definitely get the spinach dip, the philly cheesesteak, and the thin onion rings. They were DELICIOUS! Better than any I've had, in fact. The service was excellent. Our waitress was super nice and very speedy. Couldn't have asked for a better meal.

Reviews haven't been fair
My wife and two boys went to Mickey's after a day at the stadium and it was much better than the dated reviews would have you believe. They apparently have put a lot of money into the interior and the menu has been updated with an emphasis on quality. It's basically what you would expect from a sports bar with several more interesting items on the menu. The burgers are excellent as was the yellow fin tuna sandwich. The sports memorabilia kept the boys busy and overall it was a very pleasant experience in a great location. There are plenty of snooty restaurants in NYC for those who need that. We'll take Mickey's any time.

decent sports bar
The place is comfortable and good place to watch the game my only complain is the choice of food is very limited. If you want something healthier well good luck and vegetarians you will starve.

Micky is rolling over
I took my boyfriend there for his b-day. We knew we were not going for great food, but as Yankee fans we thought it would be great at least for Yankee moments. There was minimal Yankee or even Mickey memorabilia. Instead of being a Yankee hangout, it's a shill for selling rock star and other sports team stuff. What a letdown. The food was nothing special and way overpriced. Worst, my $20 lobster roll tasted like inedible fake crab meat. My boyfriend's filet mignon was salvageable, but for the price you pay, it should be a treat. Our waitress was frazzeled although the place was mostly empty. I don't blame her though the tourists were pretty bad. I especially love the family that thought letting their little sunshine roller skate endlessly around our table was a good idea. I usually live and let live if I don't like a place, but I don't want other Yankee fans to suffer the expensive letdown. Honestly, this place is an insult to Mickey Mantle's name.
