This food was unappetizing! Everything was drenched in a fatty sweet sauce. To pay so much for a scoop of rice with a few very sad looking veggies that taste sweet and fatty is just a shame and ease of money.

great vegetarian delivery!
Today I ordered the eggplant and bean curd and the vegetable spring rolls, and I'm super impressed. The vegetables in my entree are crisp yet cooked through. The spring rolls are filled with substantial, discernible vegetables. The spring rolls are a bit on the greasy side, but other than that, everything is excellent! Plus it was nice to see a vegetarian section on the menu.

Best Chinese food I have had in a while...
For a long time I have decided that chinese food is not for me. It always makes me feel bad after I eat it. BUT, this place makes you feel like you had a healthy meal.... Thank you now I can eat chinese food again :)

Best Chinese food I've had in years
Michael and Ping's was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the food is wonderful. Their fried dumplings are crispy, almost transparent pockets of dough holding a light, lean, not-too-spicy filling. I had the pork and it was not the usual fast food sausage. The sesame chicken was also light and brightly flavored, just delicious with snow peas, broccoli, peppers, carrots, and a sweet but not too heavy sauce. I had mine with brown rice, which had a nutty taste and a fluffy consistency. For dessert, I had their ice cream sundae: rich vanilla ice cream on crispy noodles drizzled with chocolate sauce and a dusting of confectioner's sugar. It was a perfect ending to the meal.

Doesn't make you regret you had Chinese!
I have been going to this place since it first opened around August and it is true that it has been going through changes (their sauces were bland at first) but they have all been changes for the better. I guess it would be called growing pains for a new and different take-out place such as this. The General Tso's chicken is made from "Free Range" chicken which is hormone free and not remotely close to being bleached or chewy, like the other guy stated. The roasted pork in garlic sauce is delicious and the amount of rice they give you with every dish is about the size of half of a grapefruit. It is a very filling meal and when talking about prices, those are fine! A $10 lunch is cheap these days. If you think it's expensive, go somewhere and you will know what expensive is lol What I really love is the shrimp eggrolls. I never thought an eggroll could taste so good and so fresh. They give you a sweet and sour sauce with it as an option to dip in, but it's not needed. When you bite in, it is so flavorful and there are big shrimp in it! Not those cheapo little ones. The best main course in my opinion is the Ribs. The menu says they are cooked for 10hrs and it must be true since the meat falls right off. BARELY any fat on those ribs. I have never eaten a rib from a chinese place and left it bone clean. I have at Michael and Pings. Considering you don't feel crappy afterwards, I say it's good for the money.

Step it up!
I've been here twice--once with a few people and twice with only one other person. They are lacking in manners. The first time we were brusquely told there is no table service and we must order at the counter. There was no one else in the restaurant. They could have made an effort or explained nicely. I tried this place again. The second time, my friend and I went right to the counter to order where the same rude woman said, "You have to use the other register." No hello, nothing. Another young woman came to take our order. At least she was polite, but this place needs an attitude adjustment. I guess it'll have to rely on its take out business because it's in-restaurant attitude is unprofessional. The food is just okay but it's next to the great pie shop which I wanted my friends to try. They are very nice in the pie shop and their pies are divine.

Over sauced! not recommended
I ordered take out from this place (house lo mein, and roast pork w/peas and baby corn). I can tell that the food itself is fresh, but everything was too sweet. I dont know what sauce they used but it tasted like a LOT of sugar was put in it!!
