While the view is incredible- can't beat the building- the rest was lacking. The prix-fixe lunch was far too small for the price. Incredibly, the dessert was served with no spoon, because "they had no more clean" to use. I dropped over $100 on lunch for 2 people, and management can't afford enough silverware?!?

Though Grand Central should be on every tourist to NYC list of places to visit, your trip will be more memorable if you skip MJ's restaurant. Since, there are only a few tables, the wait staff are more then happy to let you know that you are not welcome to linger. I witnessed a few customers get this treatment.

the $20 prefix lunch is not what it seems-offered garlic bread-waiter did not say it wasn't included with lunch-charged $8.95 for it-two persons had 2 wines each because of small servings-The $20 per person lunch came to a grand total of $101.25 for two-plus $20 tip-and someone should mention that you don't serve soup spoons with dessert-not recommended-should be told in advance that bread is extra-and the price of the drinks for an outside seat on Vanderbilt is ridiculous

The food here is good. I been to many steak house such as uncle jacks. The cream of spinach is the best I ever had in NY. The staff was nice but they kept to themselves. Not as friendly as some other places.

I wonder if Michael Jordan knows how the attitude of the staff is at the restuarant that bears his name. The best thing they have going for them is the location.
