    Not Worth the $

The service was great but the food is just ok. Too pricey for a steak with no sides. Id rather go elsewhere!

    unacceptably slow service

my boss brought a business prospect here for lunch a few weeks ago. Both said that while the food was fine, the service was beyond slow to the point of negligence. Neither one of them wishes to return though they are meeting again next week. This is the restaurant's loss - they need to look at their service issue - other reviews have noted the same problem.

    Good, but...

We ate here for my birthday because I've always wanted to have dinner at one of the balcony restaurants at Grand Central. We had filet mignon and NY strip, and both were very good. We also had a side of broccoli rabe, and the gorgonzola fondue for starters. Everything was delicious, but for the money it was just not worth it. There are no sides included with the $ 30 - 40 dollar steaks, and for $150 for a 2 person meal I just expect more. That being said, it was pretty great to have a nice meal and watch the crowds go by at Grand Central.

    Get the Ribeye Steak!

I am a huge Fan of steaks and have been to several steakhouses all around the city. Michael Jordan's Steakhouse is my favorite. My family and I have been going the Michael Jordan Steakhouse in Grand Central and we absolutely love it. Despite the high prices, the steaks are really prepared differently and is a cut above the rest. If you ever go there, you must try the "Kansas City" Steak, the "Ribeye", or "MJ's Delmonico". The cream of Spinach and the fantastic Garlic Bread is definitely something to try as well, and compliments the food incredibly well. Unfortunately, Grand Central Station does not have the Kansas City, but they do have everything else with a Great View! So if you want to take friends or family out, especially if they're from out of Town I highly recommend this place!

    Been coming here for years

I've been coming here for the last 6 years and the streak is amazing. Always cooked to perfection and of great quality. It is pretty expensive but well worth it. The buzz of the place, in Grand Central Station is phenomanal. Great atmosphere but the service needs work. Pretty aloof and unattentive. Go for the steak, I mean it is a steakhouse. All the sides are so so but the steak is king of the hill.

    Not so bad

Just came back from Michael Jordan's. First of all, the macoroni is only mediocre. I also had the Cheese burger for 19 bucks. It was really thick, and seasoned very well. Of course the burger wasn't worth 19 bucks, but at least it was delicious! It was actually relaxing sitting in the balconys of Grand Central Station. So make sure they seat you on the edge so you can look out into the crowd.

    Very pleased

Usually when I visit this place, I am at the bar with a drink & a plate of their polenta dessert waiting for the train. One visit worth noting was my first sit down dinner there. My husband & I had a really bad day. We looked much worse... skin broken out, no make up, the whole works. We're waiting for the train and decided to have dinner there. The wait staff was extremely accommodating and made me feel at ease despite my sloppy appearance. It is so nice going to a pricey restaurant that is unpretentious and accommodating to weary travelers.
