Won't go back!
Mislead to believe that the restaurant was a particpant in restaurant week and that the staff hovered around our table often removing food and drink before any one in our party was finished. Received a phone call from the Glazier group after I formalized a complaint and all I got was an argument about how well everyone is trained and that everyone in NYC knows that the restaurant doesn't particpate in restaurant week for dinners because she said so at least twice, if not three times--she said she took time out of her busy day to call me, and even though I was at work when she called I guess she assumed I wasn't busy.

maybe not
We went to Michael Jordan's tonight to celebrate a birthday and unfortunately was very disappointed. Yes, both our steaks were tender and delicious except not cooked enough much too rare for it to be medium. I thought the hash browned potatoes had way too much thyme in it so much that it overwhelmed the flavor of the steak. Not too fond of the creamed spinach all you could taste was the flavoring not the spinach. Service was ok not great...never came back to see if our dinners were alright, didn't refill our water until taking our unfinished dinners away ... even though the glasses were empty for quite some time. Sorry there's too many other steak restaurants in Manhattan that are better quality, service and not as expensive. Definitely won't recommend it or go back.

Not Worth the $
The service was great but the food is just ok. Too pricey for a steak with no sides. Id rather go elsewhere!

unacceptably slow service
my boss brought a business prospect here for lunch a few weeks ago. Both said that while the food was fine, the service was beyond slow to the point of negligence. Neither one of them wishes to return though they are meeting again next week. This is the restaurant's loss - they need to look at their service issue - other reviews have noted the same problem.

Good, but...
We ate here for my birthday because I've always wanted to have dinner at one of the balcony restaurants at Grand Central. We had filet mignon and NY strip, and both were very good. We also had a side of broccoli rabe, and the gorgonzola fondue for starters. Everything was delicious, but for the money it was just not worth it. There are no sides included with the $ 30 - 40 dollar steaks, and for $150 for a 2 person meal I just expect more. That being said, it was pretty great to have a nice meal and watch the crowds go by at Grand Central.

Get the Ribeye Steak!
I am a huge Fan of steaks and have been to several steakhouses all around the city. Michael Jordan's Steakhouse is my favorite. My family and I have been going the Michael Jordan Steakhouse in Grand Central and we absolutely love it. Despite the high prices, the steaks are really prepared differently and is a cut above the rest. If you ever go there, you must try the "Kansas City" Steak, the "Ribeye", or "MJ's Delmonico". The cream of Spinach and the fantastic Garlic Bread is definitely something to try as well, and compliments the food incredibly well. Unfortunately, Grand Central Station does not have the Kansas City, but they do have everything else with a Great View! So if you want to take friends or family out, especially if they're from out of Town I highly recommend this place!

Been coming here for years
I've been coming here for the last 6 years and the streak is amazing. Always cooked to perfection and of great quality. It is pretty expensive but well worth it. The buzz of the place, in Grand Central Station is phenomanal. Great atmosphere but the service needs work. Pretty aloof and unattentive. Go for the steak, I mean it is a steakhouse. All the sides are so so but the steak is king of the hill.
