If it weren't for the food...

I went here after hearing such great reviews and almost walked out until I took my first bite. The service stinks and the wait staff are rude but the food is incredible. Very small and cozy. If you are looking for great service, I wouldn't recommend it but if you want some amazing mexican, you should definitely give it a shot.

    Thanks for the Tips

As a result of searching thru multiple menupages for a Mexican rest. for our upcoming trip. I stumbled upon this wonderful rest. The Salsa and chips were great, very fresh tasting and ingredients. There were 4 of us and none of us were disappointed. We arrived for lunch and the prices were average for NYC. I had Chicken Fajitas there was enough food for 2 at approx 14.00 + 4.00 for chips and salsa Will definitely be back on our next trip to NYC. FYI go next door to Eileen's Cheesecake for dessert you won't be disappointed.

    Give them a 2nd chance. I did.

I feel bad for the people who didn't enjoy their experience. All I can say is to give it another try. My first experience wasn't great either, but I gave them a 2nd chance and now it's become one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It's hard to find a good mexican place that's vegetarian friendly and this place is a true gem.

    Regretful, at best

We went on a Sunday night, the place was not busy, yet the service was surprisingly bad. Our waitress visited us twice, and took an order (when we had only asked for the price!) through her bus boy. My boyfriends order was beef, instead of chicken, and my vegetarian soft taco wasn't good. Other dishes may be good, but I recommend staying well clear of this one! Overall, a subpar experience and I haven't left a restaurant in NYC feeling more displeased.

    My FAV Mexican place

I was first introduced to Mexican Radio in 2002 when I went there on a date. The relationship with the guy didn't last...but my relationship with the restaurant endures! I take everyone who visits me there...and always reccomend it to friends and clients. Who knew such incredible Mexican food could be found in NYC!?!

    Great Mexican!!!!

Been here twice. Left satisfied twice. Food is fresh, tasty, and fills you up. The trio enchiladas all came with great sauce, I def reccomend to try all 3 options. The cactus salad was refreshing, as was the ginger iced tea. Margaritas were typical, nothing special, but still got a buzz. If they have the salmon enchilada special, you definately better get that!!!!!! best mexican ive had in nyc

    thumbs up.

The wait was long but the bartender definitely made up for that! The margarita's were great and so were the chips, salsa and guacamole. The chicken fajitas were wonderful. I definitely recommend.
