Metisse is a great place for brunch -- $15 for a large omelet, salad, new potatoes, brunch cocktail (i.e. bloody mary, mimosa), and dessert. Many other options as well besides omelets. They just added a bunch of Brazilian things to the menu for a Brazilian/French option. Very good service and nice non-crowded atmosphere (even on weekends). French bread (from Silver Moon Bakery next door) is served hot/toasted with basil garlic butter. A very pleasant experience. Good desserts.

Friend of us told me and my wife about this almost underground restaurant near our favorite Bakery (Silver Moon). We never went to Metisse until he told us about their deal on Mondays and Tuesdays. Well, we had a great experience. The restaurant seams to be slow on those days. The service was excellent so was the food. Good price on steak and salmon.

The quintessence of mediocrity. Anyone can do this, and charge for it apparently.

Me and my wife had a very good experience at Metisse. Grilled Red Snapper was perfect to her. My Steak was perfect cooked. Service was great, not perfect. Definitely we will be back.

We went here on a whim and will never go back. The food was boderline edible, and average at best. The service, or lack thereof, was not good.

Had reservations elswhere for Valentine's day dinner. Left because of the poor attitude and tried Metrisse without a reservation. They accomodated us and were gracious and welcoming although very busy. Voila! The food was very good, the service slow but ecellent (we were not in a rush) and the prices a terrific value. We are certainly coming back and recommending it to friends.

I have to say I'm somewhat surprised looking at the mixed reviews. Although we were not there for a more traditional French enspired dinner, my wifes crepe was good, and my burger with brie was also good. The prices are extremely reasonable, and although it was around 2pm, I was also surprised how quiet the resteraunt was.
