Meske Ethiopian Restaurant

The food is great, super reasonably priced, and they're constantly coming around to refill water and check in. Feels really authentic and the food is amazing. You can easily fill 2 people completely up for about 30 bucks. Can't do better than that can you?

Took out a couple of Vegetable Combination lunches today. Really excellent. The spicing was just right. Very nice assortment of veggies.

Whenever I'm in town we try to find ethnic restaurants that aren't available where we live. This was one of our best finds yet. It's small and very clean (the restroom was immaculate) spot with seating for maybe 24-30 patrons. My son & I ordered the combo platter which came with one lamb and 2 beef entrees and about 8 different sides which are eaten with a spongy bread, somewhere between a large crepe & a pancake. Everything was very tasty , the only thing I could compare it to is a lightly seasoned Indian style food. With an app, 2 entrees, a beer & 2 coffees the bill was only $56. Will definitely return.

The people working here have the worst attitude ever. They got a portion of my order wrong and when the food was not eaten they still expected me to pay for it(despite me stating this isn't right). I was given the stare of death by the waitress. The food that I did eat was good. But my advice is to get your food to go... You don't want these negative nancys' spoiling your meal !!!

We are diehard Ethiopian resto goers -- from NYC to Paris to Tel Aviv, we chase Ethio fare everywhere. Otherwise generally we don't eat out. Meske is IT for us. Our office is nearby, so we go virtually daily for their lunch special -- 1/2 dinner price, same food, same portions. The staff knows our faces well now, but we were always treated graciously before. The food is delectable, especially on Mons and Thurs when they prepare for the week and the w/end. I speak for the veggie fare b/c we're vegan. Luv, luv, luv.

The service was really bad ...the staff here have a real attitude problem ask them which wine would complement the food and the answer we got was sorry I don't drink wine !!! With regards to the food I am sure you can find someplace else as the whole experience is nothing great . Also if you have a sweet tooth it is going to be dissapointing as they don't have any desserts to offer !!! So I strongly recommend some place else where with food hospitality also is a concern ...

We went back with memories of great food. Sorely dissapointed. My husband ordered Doro Wat and what a disaster. The chicken was pure rubber.could not take a bite without losing teeth. When we brought it to the attention of the waitresses, they couldn't have caref less. She nodded her head and went about her business and charged us in full although it was obviously unpalatable and uneaten. I ordered mesit wat and it was nothing like the dish should be. What a dissapointment.
