Went to mesa grill last night for the first time. When I first walked in i was a little put off bc a few of the customers were dressed inappropriately (shorts, sneakers, wife-beater!). However, the food was wonderful. I had the blue corn pancake with duck, bison filet with corn and squash blossms for sides. Everything was delicious and I cant complain about a single thing. Our waitress was adorable. For dessert I had the pineapple cake, which personally i didnt like but other people loved. Would definitely go back (but would get the cocount cake!).

I've only been here twice, but it has blown me away each time. I like to get out and have some spicy food once in a while and everything here has a nice touch with just enough spices. I had a duck special the first time I came and it blew me away! Next was a steak and that was really good too. Some things can get a little too spicy, so if you get overwhelmed, just watch yourself. Recommended.

Excellent! The 16 spiced-rubbed chicken is out of this world! The Tuna is great. My FAVE of the night was the brussel sprouts! A MUST have! If you like brussels sprouts and pomegrante, you will be exceptionally pleased. GREAT WORK BOBBY! Just brush off any irate previous reviews! YOU ARE DOING JUST FINE!

I've been going to Mesa Grill, off and on, for nearly 20 years, and somehow it always tastes just as good and is just as creative. For brunch, the blue corn waffles are delectable, as is the salmon or tuna tartar, in whatever form they are offering it. The rice with cilantro/coriander is a must-try side dish. In the evenings, I'm a big fan of their fish dishes, including the tuna steak with mango and spices. The service is incredibly courteous and friendly, given the number of tables and diners, and it's inevitably a delight to step in. It's one of those places where we don't even mind waiting for a table...

Visiting from Virginia, and decided to go to Mesa Grill. Sooo delish! Tender and juicy spiced chicken (the spices made it look dark...it was not burnt) with a kick. The brussel sprouts were so fun even my husband ate some and he hates vegetables! His rib eye was juicy and tender. We shared a large piece of coconut cake and the people next to us said "omg they ate the whole thing"....we laughed and said "it was soooo delicious!" We missed Bobby by one day, drats! But thats ok...we had a great dinner and will come back again next time we visit NYC.

I would have been dissappointed if I was served these tacos at a TGI Friday's. Eight small shrimp, two weak tortillas, some slaw, and three sauces that were underwhelming. The dish looked pitiful. Apps were great I have to say. Take the shrimp tacos off the menu, or fix the dish please.
