    nice place

Thank goodness someone thought to put a nice restaurant in the area. It's a breath of fresh air from the below average delis and fast food places nearby. They have an awesome brunch on the weekends and probably the best hamburger on the planet. The atmosphere is very friendly and the sevice as well. The outdoor space is great in the summer months too. The manager Ali is great and she would always give me the best service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone living downtown.

Good field, good atmosphere but pricey

We recently went to this cafe on a Friday night. Often they have movies outside for free. We invited some friends. They even give you free popcorn with the movie. We felt very welcome there. We got the Margherita Pizza and the Salmon plate. The food was very good. The atmosphere is very good and the staff is very friendly. The only thing I would say is that it is quite expensive and the portions are a bit small.

Fantastic! A gem in the area

This place is just great. It is a cute little trendy spot downtown and very reasonable prices. The calamari and lobster club are really great, and their brunch is also fantastic. Such a great value.. highly recommend it!

    Amazing Service,Amazing Food

I was recommended by my friend to this bistro type cafe , so i took my date there...we arrived on time and were seated promptly. Even though nearly every table in the restaurant was full and there were only two waiters working, we didn't feel like we were being underserved. Our server, (cute Asian guy) came right away, explained the specials professionally and was helpful with the menu. Our appetizers were delicious, we ordered tuna tartar and ceaser salad. The salad was large enough to share between 3 people. We each ordered different entrees and they were cooked perfectly and delicious. We ended up sampling off each other's plates and couldn't decide who had the best dish. For desert we had warm apple pie a la mode which was superb. The server was creative making it beautifully decorated with flowers. However, if you are looking for good, tasty food at great prices, in a warm inviting atmosphere, then you need to make a reservation. We're planning on making this one of our regular dining spots. We absolutely loved it! And by the way i was told they have happy hour specials from 4 till 7 with half price appetizers and 2-1 drinks... so dont waste your time:)

Glad to find it in the neighborhood

I am so happy to have found this little Bistro stlye restaurant in my new neighborhood. I just moved to Battery park a few days ago and felt right at home as soon as I came in. The clientelle were all treated like family and staff and customers seemed to be very familiar with - and happy to see each other. And to top it off the food was delicious. I am so relieved to have found "my spot". The only disruption was form the construction outside, but I guess that's to be expected around here. I had a lovely time nonetheless and can't wait til it's warm enough to sit outside by the fire!

    nice outdoor seating, but.....

Had lunch here while it was still warm enough to sit outdoors, which was nice; however, the food was surprisingly bad. Our server was friendly but seemed to lack common sense. He put my friend's and my orders in at different times, so our meals didn't arrive anywhere near each other. Not sure what he was thinking. Probably a better place for just drinks.

    Great--all the way around

This place has great food--never dissapointing. Cobb salad is the best--in fact, all of their salads are great. Service is consistant--but if you get Johann, you're in for a treat--a sexy server who's on top of his game. Drinks are alway strong/well done..margarits are the best. Great happy hour drink specials--by one get one!
