Mercadito Grove

So glad that I found this place! The absolutely best Chili Relleno stuffed with seafood, ceviche and fish tacos. The food was great but not inexpensive. Will definitely go back!

This is my favorite place in the city. I am from california and love true baja mexican, which is very hard to find. The fresh veggies, fish, and zesty spices. This places is a hit! Exactly what I have been looking for, for all these years. And the drinks are great too. This places is cheap too. I cant say enough good things. LOVE love love the fish tacos & queso fundido. And they have a huge out door seating area.

Best guacamole I've had in years. The outdoor seating at this little place is on a corner and is absolutely charming for brunch. The brunch menu was absolutely delicious, with amazing bloody marys and awesome fresh-baked homestyle tortilla chips. Not for those on a budget though.

Looked at the menu and thought the prices weren't bad . The hard working waitress who explained how it all works said the tacos were a little smaller than what you are used to seeing. When they arrived there were 4 tacos about the size of a half dollar. They were fabulous but they were tiny, barely an appetizer. Overpriced fror the portion size!

I absolutely love this place! Giving a perfect view of Sheridan Square, our food and drinks seemed like icing on the cake. My margarita was the best I ever had! Our waiter (who is excellent by the way) was incredibly efficient and helped our party have the best mexican food experience in New York City. Cheers to Mercadito Grove!

Over-priced, small portions, not worth it. Service was good, but food not great for the price. Kind of creative fare, but overall disappointed.

If you don't mind small portions that are all brought at once and removed before you have time to finish, then this is your kind of place. Almost forgot, completely overpriced!
