    "Chicken soup?" Ha!

I'm home, sick and wanted some real chicken soup. Just by the smell, I thought this was made from a packet of powder. There's little chicken in it, and the matzoh balls are poor.

    Kosher sushi?

I'm going to write only about the sushi--I haven't tried anything else. The atmosphere is not at all Japanese; this is a kosher deli, after all. The fish is very fresh and the individual pieces are huge. But the rice has very little flavor. And the selection is limited (being a kosher restaurant, it can't offer anything but real finned fish--tuna, salmon, fluke, etc; no crustaceans, sea urchins, eel or other exotica.)

    Sushi, really?

We must of walked 50 miles trying to find this place. We had seen it earlier and decided to go back. Anyway, the deli part was hard to order. The drinks are around the corner, so you walk around the counter before you pay. But once we sat down, it was great. Soup and sandwiches is what we tried. Although, I was very interested in the sushi. Even in a Jewish deli, I found sushi in NY.

    Delicious Kosher Food

I love the pastrami and the chicken soup, the knishes and chopped liver are good too. I started coming here for soup and soft food because my dentist is one block away, but then I returned when I could chew.

Liked it better whe it was Terry Dinan's

There used to be a great restaurant here called Terry Dinan's in the late 80's to the mid 90's. As Cher said..."If I could turn back time..." This restaurant tries to trade on it's Seinfeld cameo. It can' mask the fact that it's a glorified Smiler's deli.
